A very pleasant site. An oasis in the middle of the attractive small town of Villedieu Poeles. We came for 3 nights and stayed for 5! Heated outdoor pool and very clean sanitises with quick good washing machine.

In 300 metres you are in centre of town with excellent selection of bistros and bars. Don't miss a visit to the Bell Foundry. Easy drive to coast where historic part of Granville is special.. views of Emerald coast and Channel Islands.

The site was previously a Municipal but this year has new resident owner who charming, caring and keen to please.

Stayed for 2 nights and have visited many French campsites before. Site is used mainly as a stopover site and I guess the owners don’t need to make friends. Male owner was friendlier but female owner behind desk was surly and disinterested sadly. Something we have not ever experienced in France before. Site was clean and private shower/toilet clean but full of cobwebs (they rely on previous occupant to clean). Pool was lovely and clean, village very pretty and we loved the surrounding areas. Customer service needs to be improved and we would not return, which is sad as we will be back to the area and hoped to find...
