Where to Stay Near Paris Disneyland: A Safe Bet 🥰

Let’s cut to the chase. The bacon was 10/10. Every morning for breakfast I choose one big ol’cut of baguette, stuffed with bacon, and poured some ketchup on that bad boy. Pukka. Room was nice and clean, and bed was made again for us for the second night. I’m sure they would have made it a second time, but I left the do no disturb sign on the door like a plonker. Only two downsides. One, was when I was in the hotel with the key, and my girlfriend was coming in from Disney, I asked reception if they could open the gate rather than myself having to go outside and hand her the key, or her getting out the car to walk round to press the buzzer (English car and English driving wheel!). Unfortunately he couldn’t, but equally so he could have been confused with the language barrier as he looked confused and kept telling me “she should ring the buzzer”. I give them the benefit of the doubt here! Second problem was lack of paracetamol. Was ill for over a third of the holiday, and couldn’t get any cold and flu tablets anywhere. I’m sure this is to do with French law, but having some in a first aid kit is surely allowed. Disneyland Paris had some as they were ‘registered’ or some malarkey, but would have been a nice addition, but understandable as we were in France! When in France, French rules - literally. Overall, would highly recommend to Disney and non Disney guests alike. Top class brekkers. Lovely jubbly.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. There are several issues that have left me dissatisfied. Firstly, despite the hotel advertising a complimentary shuttle to Orly airport on the IHG app, they denied providing the service when I requested it via email. Furthermore, the hotel's location is inconveniently far from both the city center and the airport. Another concern is that the front desk staff also have secondary responsibilities for food and beverage handling, which raises doubts about the level of food safety. In addition, despite booking a king-size room, I was given a room with a double bed. The service has been lackluster as well. For instance, there was no drinking water provided in the room, even though they did offer coffee, which was of no use in this situation. When I called reception to request a dental kit, I was told to collect it from the front desk myself. Overall, my experience from the first night has been disappointing, and I intend to update my review after assessing the other facilities of the hotel. Update 1- we got insects in the room 2- got a new room but still there bugs as in the photo

Note: I have not been in France for 7 years prior to this, and I am not in any way affiliated with this hotel. I am not a youtuber, or "Influencer." Just a guy who is on a bit of a world tour at the moment.

I was not planning on staying so long, but, I found the room to be so modern and well-lit, the climate control to be so accurate, and the overall experience so nice, I chose to stay here instead of at an apartment.

The breakfast provided each day with the stay had enough variety that I never grew bored with the food choices. i could have eggs boiled or scrambled, croissants, light rolls with chocolate in them, yogurt, bacon, sausages, and a variety of cold cuts to construct a sandwich, with the provided hard-crust bread loaf I could slice to picess of whatever thickness I liked, plus OF COURSE, baguettes plus a plentitude of Swiss cheese to add to the sandwich or anything I liked.

A pancake machine which kids especially seemed to like, which makes several small pancakes instead of one large one, juices, coffees, milk, water, fruit salad and some whole fruits to peruse.

The bed was comfortable, as well. It has a firm and a softer side, which I had not experienced until I stayed here, so I chose the firmer side, which I like. The small one-portion coffee and tea maker in the room was something I used several times a say, as the tea was very flavorful. The included ironing board and iron I put to use, as well as the hair dryer. The bathroom always seemed to be a pleasant temperature regardless of room temperature, so having a shower never required warming up the room first with the shower set on hot.

And the mirror has heat behind it so you can use it right after you shower., because the center third or half stays clear.

The families with children seemed to like the wide variety of food, plus the small arcade they have near the front desk, with a big air hockey game, some shooters, and some games of skill or chance, and a machine to change your money to the right format for the games. It even has a pinball machine.

I did not need the airport shuttle myself, as I had my own rental car.

In all, a very pleasant stay with some friendly and helpful staff, especially at the front desk, but even the managers, housekeeper and restaurant staff were engaging, conversational, and helpful, making you feel like a guest and a human being, not an obstacle that stood between themselves and a life of happiness.

You could stay somewhere else when you visit Disneyland or even the Paris area, but why????

It was kind of entertaining to see the parents herding their kids on their way to or from Disneyland, with the girls often dressed in princess dresses, and the boys occasionally with a Disney character perched on their shoulder. I realized that some kids are REALLY fans of Disney and their various characters.

The place just has a positive energy about it, without being raucous or intrusive, and I have to commend the room design once again, complete with a giant window you can open as wide as you like. I kept mine cracked a bit as I love to sleep with fresh air, and the climate control kept the temperature comfortable and adjusted quickly when I needed to in order to match it to the level of activity or dress I was at, whether sleep, showering, drying off, or just lounging on the comfortable bed, chair, or padded small stool. The reach-over table I could slide right up beside the bed helped out when I ordered in some food late at night, as I could sit in bed and eat and watch one of the many different-language...

We booked this room as an option to extend our trip due to me hurting my leg and we did decided to use that option as my leg was hurting. We stayed here in feb 2023 and it was lovely only thing missing was a room safe. So was looking forward to going back just our luck we stayed in room 216 in feb 2023 and this time in room 218 so almost mirror of the first room. The room felt clean at first then noticed tea/coffee cup ring marks on the the shelf where the hot drinks are also not a lot of choice plus they changed the variety since feb so disappointing. The bathroom had stains that looked like make up. We just used baby wipes and alcohol gel to clean the area and picked up some clothes plastic label ties that was next to the bin.The huge walk in Shower was just as lovely as before. Towels soft and fluffy. King size bed lovely as before pillows comfortable and quit lovely. Noticed a washed stain on duvet about a size of raisin however can’t blame the hotel as this wasn’t removed during the washing. However the sofa bed this time wasn’t comfortable much of difference in the mattress disappointing children didn’t seem to notice the pole half way down the bed but they were 3 and 4. However we noticed 2 little cushions in room 218 that wasn’t in our room in feb so nice touch. In the morning the children were restless so we decided to fold up the sofa bed but was greeted by old food and crumbs and used tissues and a layer of dust as any support worker knows you always seem to find a pair of gloves in a pocket of a bag so we just picked up the food and larger crumbs and tissues and used a towel we had used to brush the dust away and lay the towel down. however the sofa was comfortable. Breakfast was lovely as before lined that they moved the pancake machine over to the other wall however pancake machine seemed slower and also kept popping out all different sizes of pancakes. Breakfast was quiet this time so it didn’t matter too much but in February the pancake machine had a queue maybe an idea to buy another machine so to 2 of them. Liked the new outdoor courtyard space shame there wasn’t no cushions out as it would of been nice to have that option of sitting outside. Liked that the hotel had added some plants made it look nicer. There is now a games room with machines which looked nice. The little snug area in breakfast area with tv on for the children has also changed not too sure of the benches with high sides and low seats as young children had trouble reaching the table. Car parking brilliant. Area is quiet there is a bus that goes to Disney Paris no 34 I think. A shuttle bus would be perfect for this hotel. Most hotels have safes in room but this one still doesn’t would like to...

We checked in after paying online through their actual website instead of booking.com wow what a weird way of doing business we take the full amount as holding deposit in the morning to then refund you when you check in to take it again. The first room was dark and had a connecting door which we were not using and which made the room feel weird. Plus children kept playing with the door so very annoying after 5 minutes to us let alone anyone next door. We asked to move got placed in a front of hotel room and everything looked nice as per usual however there is signs of wear of tear knocked and scruffy paint work. Also tea/coffee marks all down the wall next to side of bed. Coffee machine nice. However no tea bags! As pouring of rain at the start of our holiday we just stayed in room and relaxed. Kids kept on complaining about the sofa bed saying it not nice. They have slept on a couple at this hotel so we shrugged it off at first. Youngest fell asleep at the end of the sofa bed after refusing to sleep at the top. Until moving in to main bed. When the oldest age 5 refused we had a look at 11.00 pm(much excitement for Disney.) The whole sofa bed frame had come off of the frame and hanging. As it was late we allowed her to sleep with us so some how we managed to sleep in a king size bed which wasn’t comfortable. We told the receptionist next day and she couldn’t understand what I was saying or meant and just wrote down the room number didn’t ask how we slept or anything. If she had it would be terrible what sleep I think I spent 3/3.5 hours listening to the rain from just before 3am until 6am when our alarm went off felt tired and worn. Not a great way to start aday at Disney. We accidentally left a hat at the hotel rang to make sure it was saved and not thrown yet again she thought I had rang to say something about the bed?? It was the sofa bed and not main bed and I got hang up on when trying to explain hat. I was tired and annoyed! Partner had to call back to speak to them about his hat. They couldn’t understand the type of hat we were saying except it looked like a cap so we went with that. I phoned later to ensure it was found as birthday present. It was put behind the desk still no sorry about the sofa bed being broken and us paying for 4 people to sleep comfortably instead 4 to sleep cramped and bad! Let alone the huge urine mark on the mattress that was just flipped with no protector not happy! Still nothing from manager. However they...
