We arrived on Monday 18 th June 2018 to a filthy damp smelling ground floor apartment, Julie (who was fantastic as was tarik) informed us it was clean and ready for us before the 1600 check in time, we were excited to start our holiday.||||The door opened and it was damp, cobwebs in the corners with dead mosquitos in, ants in the kitchen home area and a fridge that looked like this, the under sheets in the beds had other people's hair on them , THICK layers of dust on top of light switches, missing light bulbs in the bunk room, power points hanging out of the wall and a tv that was not tuned In ,the grout between the tiles in the bathroom had not been scrubbed for sometime..DISGUSTING.||||Well come to the 3rd best pierre vacancies out of 46 in the south of France (thanks to the staff for this info)||||2000 on your first night of a holiday cleaning out a fridge with bleach is not the best, neither is the first morning afterwards sorting it out..||||Respect due julie and trail sorted things out, by midday on the 19th we had a new fridge and a couple of cleaners that did what they should have done to start with, however no cleaner can get rid of the damp smell, we left Windows open all day and left our fan turning 24/7 to keep the air turning in the flat(note there is no fan provided).||||I lodged a complaint and got an automated response the next day offering 150 Eros credit for our next holiday with p and v, to be used within12 months, automation does not work as a baby is due in September and the chances of us going on holiday with I the year are zero, I asked for this to be credited to my purchasing credit card , the director of p and v at this location. said it would , as of today 9/7/2018 I have heard nothk.g from the customer service team( client.relation).||||To summarize, disgusting appartment (old also very 1990's), health and safety issue to give a fridge like this to clients and think it's ok, no checking of cleaning services provided by 2 outside companies( thanks again staff, one does weekend the othe weekdays ), terrible customer service from the centralised team, Julie has informed me now they will be in contact with me..as of today 9/7/2018 still no correspondence from them.||||Honestly the location is stunning, the gardens are very well maintained( unlike the accommodation ), great beach access ..BUT THE BASIYOU GOT SO SO WRONG WAS TO GIVE OUT THIS APPARTMENT TO YOUR GUESTS..WE MAKE YOUR BUSINESS..REMEMBER THAT.||||CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT..AND REAL FIRST POINT OF CONTACT COMPLAINT HANDLING IS NEEDED.||||WOULD I GO BACK ..NO ..AT 1500EUROS FOR 11 nights..OVER PRICED FOR THE ACCOMODATION..YOU LIVE ON THE BACK OF...
Read moreThis is my third time staying here. We love the location,we love the friendly staff, we love the ambiance of the residence and its guests, we love the grounds.
However this year I was disappointed with the 'Renovated' room. We were in a 24sqm flat. Two down from where we stayed 2 years ago. The only difference is the air conditioning. The rest has not changed. The air con unit is on the balcony. So if its on, the hot air is pumped all over the balcony. So you cant have it on and be cool and be inside, whilst another may want to sit on the balcony in the heat of the air being pumped out. When on at night, its noisy as your head is next to the unit separated by the window. The curtains are way to long, and don't close properly as they are not wide enough so you are woken every morning by the rising day. The shower pressure is a joke,it can't be due to usage from elsewhere ,as its weak at anytime of the day. Often a trickle comes out. I resorted to rinsing the hair of my daughter at the baby pools shower to get the salt out..as the flats shower was just to weak to do this.
I paid extra for a Renovated flat..but basically its the same flat with an ill thought out air con unit.
Unfortunately the negatives out weighed the positives. A shame, but won't be returning to the...
Read moreThe room was fine but there was no air conditioning. This made sleeping very difficult. I know I should have read the "facilities" of what's provided with the room, i.e. no air con. But still given that the "normal" price for the room would have been around 1500 euros, not having Air con is pretty bad. We paid around 1000 euros which is bad enough. The idea of spending 1500 (200 a night) for a room without air conditioning is really terrible.||||We had to have all the windows and doors open to be able to keep the room at an acceptable temperature. Also because there was no fly screens we ended up with a lot of mosquito bites.||||Parking was very difficult. Don't expect to be able to park a car if you have car that is over 1m 90cm. The parking slots where very very tight and that meant parking a car was very stressful. Concrete pillars either side of the parking space made getting into the slot really hard. I had things on the roof of the car. I had to take them off and leave them at my parents who live close by. Had I not had them nearby it would have been very difficult.||||The people at the desk were helpful in so far as they were able to be helpful.||||Not sure I will...
