It's quite a large site with a mix of camping, campers, static caravans and chalets. The pool area is quite nice. The reception is lukewarm and taking a credit card number for the €80 cleaning fee is not advertised. The site just says that you can clean your own chalet before leaving or pay €80 instead. (Needless to say we left the chalet cleaner than we found it)
The chalets are a lot smaller than you would expect for the number of occupants they are supposed to accommodate. We had a Polynesian chalet and you couldn't allow children to sleep in the mezzanine beds as it's not safe. The beds up there are 135cm long so a normal sized adult wouldn't fit those beds either.
The stairs to the upstairs are essentially ladders on wheels but with not enough space between steps so they are tricky enough to climb without the issue of there being no hand rails.
The stair/ladder is heavy so it is difficult to pull out from the bottom but easy to push from the top so is very unsafe for children.
There was a huge dining table inside the cabin and an outside dining table. We had to put the internal dining table and chairs outside to give some room inside. The cabin should sleep 6, we were 2 adults and 1 child and we struggled with there being enough space.
There is plenty of wildlife around and plenty for kids to explore but it isn't a place of beauty and is just a caravan park with some poorly designed chalets.
There are campers who can turn up and pitch for very little money so you do run the lottery of ending up with a noisy group of campers impinging on your attempt to have a quiet meal on your decking.
The shower in the chalet had a lot of mould around the sealant and it needed a clean when we arrived.
There were blankets and base sheets for the beds which was a nice surprise (we took sleeping bags to avoid the hassle) you do need to take your own towels but that is explained when you book.
It.is a dog friendly site so sometimes you need to watch your step.
All in all for the price it is very average. It is 30 minutes from Lyon which is a great place to visit. The local town is nice and there is a Carrefour close by.
If you can get a good price then it is worth it but i certainly wouldn't pay peak season prices for a chalet.

4 star site with a 2 star experience.
We visited this site for one overnight stay in our caravan.
Since our visit was quite short we are only able to review a part of our experience.
🚽 ⭐ The sanitary experience was horrendous. At no time during our stay were the toilets clean. Every toilet was quite disgusting to use, and at such a high rate the least you can expect is soap for washing your hands afterwards. Most of the toilets were out of toilet paper and it did not seem like they had any cleaning for a long time.
🚿 ⭐⭐ The showers were fine, still not clean. We used one of the larger ones that even had a sink. The sink was dirty and even the table around it was dirty.
🌳 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The site offers many pitches with trees around them providing the perfect amount of shadow and even has a fine breeze for cooling you down in the heat.
🐝 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ We were visited by slim to none wasps.
🪰 ⭐⭐ Expect many flys around dinnertime. You should definitely cover up your food at all times.
🦟 ⭐⭐ Since the surroundings is watery expect many mosquitos at the evening.
🥐 ⭐⭐⭐ We ordered baquettes and croissants from the reception. The baquettes were okay however the croissants were definitely underbaked.

Wir haben den Campingplatz im August, auf der Durchreise nach Spanien, für eine Nacht besucht.
Das wichtigste vorweg: Länger hätte ich dort auf keinen Fall bleiben wollen und ich würde ihn nur nochmals in Betracht ziehen, wenn ich keine Alternative finden kann. Was mir völlig unklar ist, ist wofür dieser Campingplatz 4 Sterne bekommen hat.
Der Stellplatz: Es gibt keine festen Stellplätze, diese muss man sich selbst auf dem Campingplatz suchen. Da alles etwas eng ist, macht man das eventuell lieber zu Fuß. Die Stellplätze selbst sind ausreichend groß dimensioniert um auch einen großen Wohnwagen oder Camper aufzustellen und daneben noch ein Auto zu parken. Strom ist verfügbar, Wasser hatten wir leider keins. Das wäre bei einem längeren Aufenthalt ein echtes Manko.
Der Campingplatz: Leider hält man auf diesem Campingplatz nur wenig von Ordnung und Sauberkeit. Es liegt immer wieder Müll auf dem Boden der erkennbar schon länger nicht weggeräumt wurde (Ich weiß den hat der Betreiber nicht selbst da hin gelegt). Auch die Sanitärgebäude sind extrem dreckig und werden offenbar nicht zu oft und sehr oberflächlich gereinigt. Ich rate an dieser Stelle dringend davon ab das ältere der beiden direkt benachbarten Gebäude zu nutzen auch wenn das neuere auch nur bedingt sauber ist, ist das ältere mit Abstand das Schlimmste was ich in den vergangenen Jahren gesehen habe. Kleine Randnotiz: Die Putzfrau hat morgens das schwarze Wasser (sie hat den gleichen Eimer für Boden und Klo benutzt) in das Becken gespült in dem die Camper ihr Geschirr spülen. Vielen Dank nochmal an der Stelle.
Das Restaurant auf dem Platz erfreut sich einer extrem überschaubaren Auswahl. Über die Qualität kann ich nichts sagen, da die Öffnung so spät war, dass wir bis dahin vermutlich bereits verhungert wären.
Das Wasser im Pool war milchig-trüb wie Nudelwasser. Die Kinder haben sich zusätzlich über den starken Chlorgehalt beschwert. Sitzplätze gab es um den Pool herum nur wenige, die meisten davon ohne Schatten.
Der Shop auf dem Campingplatz hatte ein sehr überschaubares Angebot. Im Wesentlichen gab es Eis und Wein zu kaufen. Gekühlte Lebensmittel gab es überhaupt keine. Wer hier hofft noch schnell was für's Abendessen kaufen zu können wird sich vermutlich enttäuscht sehen.
Während unseres Aufenhtaltes war man offenbar damit beschäftigt neue Mobilhomes aufzubauen. Diese waren auch bereits bewohnt, obwohl vieles noch nicht fertig war. Einige Mobilhomes waren nur durch eine improvisierte Treppe aus Mauersteinen erreichbar.
Die unmittelbare Umgebung: Die nahe Autobahn ist besonders Nachts deutlich zu hören. Was für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp auch seine praktische Seite hat, würde mich bei einem längeren Aufenthalt definitiv stören. Die hübsche Touristenbahn ist derzeit leider außer Betrieb und im angrenzenden Ort hatten insbesondere die Restaurants und Schnellimbisse über August geschlossen. Positiv möchte ich erwähnen, dass unmittelbar angrenzend an den Campingplatz ein Weg am Fluß entlang führt, der zu einem Spaziergang einlädt.
Die Anfahrt: Der Campingplatz ist sehr nah an der Autobahn und damit gut zu erreichen. Wer ein höheres Wohnmobil hat, sollte aber genauer aufpassen. Die direkte Zufahrtmöglichkeit hat eine relativ...
