Hotel GENI Kazbegi — Hotel in Stepantsminda

During the process of organizing our journey to Georgia, I was in the midst of researching suitable hotel in Kazbegi . My brother, Gela, who also served as our trusty Georgia tour guide, suggested that we choose this particular hotel. Its prime location amidst lush mountains and it was just 10 min walk away from downtown that really caught our attention. We went ahead and reserved the Family room on the top floor, which boasted an open terrace offering the most breathtaking view I've ever witnessed. Our stay spanned two nights, and I must say, the room was impressively spacious, comfortably accommodating a Queen-sized bed alongside two single beds. While the bathroom was tidy and well-kept, it's worth noting that it lacked a Muslim shower. A gem in Gergeti. Located on the mountain opposite to Stepantsminda, it offers a beautiful view over the town and mountains. Especially from the rooms on the 'front side' of the hotel. I didn't want to fall asleep at night to enjoy the city lights a bit longer:). Very friendly owner, modern rooms and most delicious breakfast (don't skip it!). From Stepantsminda it's a good 30 mins walk up. On the other hand, you safe that time climbing to the church. And Gergeti is definitely quieter than Stepantsminda, I enjoyed a lot the 'village...

Прекрасный отель на самой окраине города, вдалеке от шума дороги. За счёт того, что отель находится на возвышенности, с окна номера и террасы открывался впечатляющий вид на весь город и горы. Бронировали номер двухместный Делюкс с 1 кроватью и балконом (к.9). Кстати, есть общая терраса, с которой тоже потрясающий вид. В самом номере всё понравилось: удобная кровать, приятное постельное бельё, мягкие полотенца, интерьер и конечно же чистота. В целом интерьер отеля подобран со вкусом и во всех помещениях красиво и стильно. Завтрак был очень сытным и разнообразным. Мы с мужем не смогли осилить и половины предложенных блюд (на моем фото не всё меню). Семья, которая управляет этим отелем, приятные и душевные люди. Нам было абсолютно комфортно с ними общаться.
