Marienhof — Hotel in Bad Tölz

We stayed at the hotel pension marienhof which was only a 10 minute walk from the town centre. What a find, a traditional bavarian chalet style building and the rooms were lovely. Beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. The hotel is small but of all the hotels we stayed in during the world cup in June all over Germany this was the best by a mile and reasonable value.||A generous buffet breakfast in a beautiful breakfast room. The only slight fault we had was that we only ever saw any staff in the morning although you could call staff at other times if needed. We never needed to.||Bad Tolz itself is a lovely little town and we will definitely go back. |The Alpamare water park is a great experience with plenty of fun for the young including one pool where you can try to ride the surf on a board and plenty of more relaxing spa pools with underwater music and plenty of bubbles for us older people!||The Tegernsee lake is less than an hour away on the bus and Munich is less than an hour away on the train. So you really can have the best of all worlds in Bad Tolz. I would imagine it is even better as a base if you have a car which we did not have.||We went for the World Cup but we will defintely go back some time and we will look no further than the Marienhof...

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night last week while touring the Alpenstrasse. I say we stayed here but actually, the landlady has a relationship with the landlady of the Peterhof just opposite and was able to offer us a room in that building, as she was so full in the Marienhof. Our room in the Peterhof was very big and bright, with more abundant parking, so we were very pleased to be offered a room there instead. We returned to Marienhof for breakfast though which was an interesting affair, with so many guests in attendance! We shared a table with an elderly German couple, and tucked into everthing on offer. One of the lady waitresses fetched us a pot of boiling water so we could make our own tea and all in all, it was a good breakfast and a great experience to breakfast with such a busy crowd of friendly, homely German people.||Watch out for the super-cool and friendly house cat (what was his name?), who sits on the reception desk...

Ho soggiornato in questa struttura per circa una settimana ad aprile 2018, in una circostanza molto triste per me.||Non ho parole per ringraziare la signora Ines, proprietaria, per il suo calore e la sua disponibilità.||Nonostante le preoccupazioni e il dolore di quei giorni, la signora Ines è riuscita a farmi sorridere e persino a darmi serenità.||Il suo aiuto nel bisogno e la sua disponibilità è stata superlativa e fondamentale per me.||La pensione inoltre è molto carina, pulita. Si trova in una zona molto tranquilla della bella città termale di Bad Toelz.||La colazione è abbondante e naturale.||Ogni richiesta del cliente viene accontentata dalla signora Ines e dalle sue gentili aiutanti.||Che dire poi del suo adorabile gatto Tony? Semplicemente meraviglioso. Come la sua padrona.||Massima disponibilità e libertà, anche per l'ora di rientro.||La signora fornisce la chiave e ognuno può rientrare quando desidera.||I prezzi sono assolutamente ragionevoli.||La signora Ines ha lasciato un segno nel mio cuore e presto spero di tornare a trovarla.||Consiglio questa pensione a tutti coloro che amano la gentilezza, la disponibilità, l'amicizia e l'accoglienza, oltre che la pulizia e il buon cibo. ||Grazie Ines e a presto. Es liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Gegend der schönen Kurstadt Bad Tölz.||Das Frühstück ist reichlich und natürlich.||Jede Anfrage des Kunden wird von Frau Ines und ihren freundlichen Helfern beantwortet.||Was ist mit seiner entzückenden Tony Katze? Einfach wunderbar. Wie seine Geliebte.||Maximale Verfügbarkeit und Freiheit, auch für die Rückkehrzeit.||Die Dame gibt den Schlüssel und jeder kann zurückkommen, wann er will.||Die Preise sind absolut angemessen.||Frau Ines hinterließ ein Zeichen in meinem Herzen und bald hoffe ich, sie wiederzusehen.||Ich empfehle diese Pension allen, die Freundlichkeit, Verfügbarkeit, Freundschaft und Gastfreundschaft sowie Sauberkeit und gutes Essen lieben.||Danke Ines und bis bald.
