The stylish little houses are such a bijou, we had lovely six days there. Every little detail fits the designer concept. The kitchen is fully equipped including dishwashing liquid and paper towels. The little garden in the back is a great place to have your coffee in the morning. It's quiet and one cannot hear much of the traffic outside (only some loud airplanes above).
There's a bedroom upstairs and additional foldable beds can be provided against a fee for up to two kids (only one can fit in the bedroom upstairs). There's a washing machine in the upstairs bathroom (there's a toilet on the ground floor as well).
The only disadvantage is the lack of a proper dining table to sit more than two. We managed with the table outside but in colder weather this would be an issue.
The location is also great. The S-Bahn station is just a few minutes away. S1 runs every ten minutes and takes you to Altona, the touristic center and the main station. A bus takes you down to the Teufelsbrücke ferry. The botanical garden and Jenischpark are around the corner and the whole area has beautiful houses and shady streets. One can walk next to the Elbe river all the way to Altona which is highly recommended. There are no supermarkets in the immediate vicinity but there's a shopping center and a few supermarkets only a pleasant 20/25-minute walk or a short bus ride away (beware that you need to download the HVV app and register beforehand as it is no longer possible to buy tickets on the bus).
The administration is very responsive and the key pickup is uncomplicated. The whole house was impeccably clean.
Overall very impressed by the quality of the accommodation and...
Read moreWe loved our stay in this Aparthotel! The rooms, the design and the equipment are great. We found everything needed for a comfortable stay with a toddler. Kitchen is equipped with all necessary tools, there is a dishwasher, an oven, an iron board and an iron, washing machine and etc. The highlight was a little patio and garden furniture for pleasant evenings outside. ❤️ I want to praise the service too. We had a problem with payment via Booking.com, and hotel team supported us and was very flexible and understanding. Last but not least is the location. If you plan to enjoy the “green” side of Hamburg rather than city sights, this location is perfect! Jenischpark, Botanical Garden Loki Schmidt, and Klein Flottbeck overall, are full of lovely views. And there is an easy and fast access to S Bahn...
