Hi Travellers!||||This lovely and traditional hotel lies on the side of the river in Munden , very near to the point at which the three famous rivers converge. This town with Medieval roots of commerce is idyllic, peaceful and has a very relaxing feel.||||The hotel itself has a classic appeal with wooden carving bedecking the ceilings and vertical displays.||||The reception is clean and tidy and the staff lovely.||||The restaurant area with bar lies in front of the hotel ground floor, remember last order for food around 10pm I think!||||Again very pleasant service and attentive staff looking after you!||||Breakfast is in the same restaurant and they offer an absolutely fabulous range of hot and cold foods which were really well done.||||The rooms are clean and comfortable and it is so lovely to hear the river burbling away as you sleep in this so peaceful town.||||Nice...

The hotel is excellent and is situated where two local rivers meet. The staff are professional and extremely helpful. The reception area and the rooms are tastefully decorated and the bed was amazing.||Breakfast with local eggs and homemade jams and a choice of several breads was so delicious.||I drove 6 hours from Switzerland to stay here as it was a beautiful area of Germany 🇩🇪 which I did not know.||It was my first visit but definitely not my last.||Well done and sincere congratulations to an amazing staff. The proof of a highly dynamic team of workers can be felt so much and we are made to feel important guests in a peaceful haven.||Thankyou so much for making our family trip...

Hotel Alter Packhof in Hann. Munden is central situated down to the River Fulda. The hotel is charming and our room was spacious with a well functioning bathroom. We slept well and were prepared for a long journey to Denmark the following day. Breakfast was classic German and good. We had not booked the hotel because we did not know if we would reach Hann. Munden that day. We did and the hotel had a room. However, it was strange that we could not see the room before making the final booking when I inquired about available rooms.
