Hotel Restaurant Kappelner Hof — Hotel in Kappeln

Really enjoyed staying here for 1 night in july 2015. We stayed in the guest house which is 100m from the main hotel. There was no wifi however the room was pleasant and simple. Big windows and a clean 70s style bathroom which was like going back in time. Breakfast was very basic with no hot food besides boiled eggs. |There was wifi in the main building however, after an hour of trying to connect we gave up. |N.B Many bars and restaurants do not accept credit or debit cards....

The room was in an annexe and not in the main hotel. Cost was 170 euros for 1 night. The decor was very out of date and depressing, and the furniture was very old fashioned. On close inspection the room was not thoroughly clean - lots of cobwebs around the window frame. Toiletries were provided but were tiny and cheap. Breakfast was adequate but no fresh fruit. My overall impression was that the owner did not want to spend any money...

Small hotel in the hearth of the town, close to the fjord (5 min on foot). Small rooms in the depandancy. Clean rooms are equipped private bathroom, personal safe and TV.
