On our way to Berlin we looked for a small hotel to stop over for one night, and the hotel should not be too expensive. The Ratsstube was perfect, the room was clean and quiet. And what we particularly enjoyed, was the breakfast, well prepared in a corona safe way and served by an extremely nice lady that would fulfil every little wish we had, like a soft-boiled egg, coffee for my thermos flask, more rolls, more ham... ||||I do recommend this hotel at Pegnitz and I do recommend Pegnitz, this pretty small town in the beautiful Franconian Swiss hills.||||About more to say: The hotel is not a trendy boutique hotel, but just a solid and...

I had dinner here on Sunday, my waitress: Valeria was by far the best waitress I’ve experienced in 15 years of traveling in and around Germany! The food, as always was amazing and if you find yourself here when the tiramisu isn’t all gone, I highly recommend you jump on it, it was great! If you’re trying to get in for a Friday / Saturday night dinner, I HIGHLY recommend making a reservation, this place is one of if not the best places in Pegnitz. I had the chance to stay in Hotel Ratsstube from Pegnitz for 3 nights during this summer and i was surprised to find a very nice hotel.||Nice breakfast but still missing some things (ordering some fried eggs for example); spacious room and everything very clean.||||On the opposite, the WIFI connection was sometimes poor and i could not understand the variation. one evening could not connect with any device to wifi but in the end it was a good opportunity...
