Review for the holiday camp only.
The camp is close to the park, and the cabins are pretty basic. Having your own toilet is an upcharge, sheets are upcharge and we paid it. Luckily, because we didn't want to share a bathroom with 3 busses of school kids. You have to tweak with the electric heater to have your cabin not freezing and there is no TV, which is not a big issue. The service is where the holiday camp loses its points and the beds are really uncomfortable. People in service almost speak no English, I speak German but if Im using 70% German, it seems the staff rather calls out a younger staff member that does speak English, over trying to help. If you don't eat at the park and don't have any dinner reservation, your only option is fries and nuggets at a snackbar outside, if you don't want to pay €25 p.p. But if the weather is bad, the snackbar is also closed. They also just accept cash, even when the pin terminal is right there. Then again, if you calculate back, 2 days of park tickets is more expensive then booking an overnight stay with park entry (if you choose to not have a...

Read moreThe 2 Bungalow Categories are: Room with 2 single beds, table, a bench incl. a bath (with shower) or with 1 or 2 bunk beds ( toitlet and shower in seperate building) For a 2 or 3 to 4 days stay its just ok. We booked a 3 day package, includes everything, so the 3 day entree in the Heide Park Soltau with all the roller coaster and trill atractions, all meals ( breakfast and dinner and softdrinks - all what you can eat) and a voucher for lunch in the Park + discount vouchers for cake, waffles etc.) And you can start from here into the Luneburger Heide, and see nice towns, like Soltau or Lüneburg. We were happy with our bungalow with bath and all the meals. It was cold in the morning but there is a heater inside. So we didn´t missed anything for a Camp. Think its a Camp ! and not a Hotel. You can book seperate the Hotel what is on the main entrance. From Holiday Camp Park it was just easy 200m walk to the special entrance for Campers and you start there just on the "Scream" tower. The Car park is safe...
