We stayed here for 3 nights to spend 2 days at Europa Park. We took a taxi to and from the park each day which was around 22 EUR each way. I believe there are buses but we didn't look into this since I have mobility issues. It was me and my teenage son. ||Room - we had a standard twin room. The beds were really comfortable. I needed an extra pillow which they were happy to provide. The bathroom was nice with a great shower. Everywhere was really clean and in good repair. They had blackout curtains and air con which was great because the days we were there were really hot. The room also had a chair and a table. Couldn't fault the room at all. ||Breakfast - the breakfast was a really good selection of breads, meats, cheeses, fruit, veg, yogurt and cereal. They also had scrambled and hard boiled eggs which we didn't try. There was a good selection of coffee, tea and fruit juice. Only one black tea - Darjeeling. We used the cereal milk for our tea, which is what we usually do in Europe. It raises a few eyebrows but seems to work OK. Don't come here if you want a full English breakfast. Whilst they do cater to English guests they mainly have German and and French visitors. ||Staff - all the staff were fantastic. Especially the reception staff who went above and beyond. Most of the staff have badges showing what languages they speak and they all seem to be able to speak English beautifully. They did let us try our German though and were super patient with us. We did not have one single negative experience with a staff member the whole time we were there. They were friendly and kind throughout. You could not ask for more. ||Negative - We only had one slight negative which was more about how the hotel was presented on their own website, so this was nothing the hotel staff had any control over. The website stated there were 2 onsite restaurants. That is not true. There is a bar open from 5pm which serves a few snacks and there is the breakfast buffet which is open for a few hours in the morning. I don't think you could describe either as a restaurant. We had a pizza in the bar the first night and ate at Europa Park the other nights. I do think the website is misleading and it did mess with our plans a bit as we had planned to eat at the hotel every night. Just something to be aware of...

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is exceptionally clean, and I was pleased to see that it is also pet-friendly, making it a great choice for those traveling with their furry companions. The location is incredibly convenient for those planning to visit Europa-Park, Rulantica, and even Switzerland. It made exploring the region very easy. The rooms were comfortable, well-maintained, and quiet, providing the perfect environment to rest after a long day of sightseeing. I was especially impressed with the friendly and helpful staff. For families, this hotel is a fantastic choice. I loved the little play area for kids – it’s such a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was enjoyable, though I did miss having orange juice, which would have been a nice addition. I was also expecting a welcome amenity like a water bottle in the room, as a valued IHG member, but unfortunately, that wasn't provided. Additionally, there was no small freezer, which might be worth considering for future guests. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to families and all types of travelers. The location, cleanliness, and friendly staff make it a great place to stay, and I would definitely return for...
