Jägerhaus — Hotel in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Titisee-Neustadt

The hotel is nice and the staff are super friendly. What I would like to write about is the restaurant in the hotel. As you enter the door, on the left hand side you find the restaurant. I have been to 37 countries and this has been one of the top 5 steaks I've had. As a result of my son not sleeping my wife and I took turns to walk him in the stroller so he could sleep and we could have a meal together... Last order was at 08:30 so we ordered the food. Long story short, by the time my wife and I could eat, my steak was cold, but this being said, it was still one of the best steaks I had. So the next evening we were lucky enough to have my sleep and I ordered the same steak again... What a treat! The food is great, the staff are amazing and I have only good things to say about this place. If you're in the area and can't stay overnight, at least come eat,...

Great hotel! The hostess is probably one of the nicest people ever. Communication in English was almost never hard, it was always possible to understand. When we first arrived the staff left us some candy on the sheets:) Great breakfast, was always very tasty. A train station is nearby and the hotel offers free rides on it. 15 minutes away from a local supermarket. We stayed in August and fears it would be really hot because there was no air conditioning. It wasn’t necessary, not during the day and not at night. The rooms were the perfect temperature and never hot nor cold. The rooms are very spacious and clean.

Overall a very positive experience...

I fell into the Jaegerhaus, having been unable to find anything under €100 in Titisee. And how glad was I to find it. Right in the center of the working half of Titisee-Neustadt, opposite the station in a modern building with everything working properly. The room is typical of a commercial hotel, loads of hot water in a great shower, the bar is bustling and the restaurant well patronised by locals as the food is filling and excellent. Breakfast, as usual in Germany, is as substantial as you want to make it. This is not a luxurious lakeside villa, it is an honest working hotel with friendly hard working staff....
