Hotel Wendelstein — Hotel in Wendelstein

I decided to book this hotel as it was only a 10 min drive from the messe where we were at a stand. ||It was an easy drive along the autobahn and it was lovely returning after a busy day at the show to a more rural location.||We were upgraded to the honeymoon suite which was spacious with a big bathroom with bath and shower.||Breakfast had a good variety each morning.||Despite the hotel being full with other visitors from the show, it was quiet and great for a restful night.||The location is quaint and it is an easy stroll to the village centre where there are several restaurants and bars. Compared to the extra busy restaurants in the centre of town where most of the other show attendants struggled to get a reservation for dinner, it was peaceful coming back to a relaxed atmosphere where eating out was not an issue.||A really good option for the messe....a little pricey but this is to be expected during any trade...

Room not as displayed in the pictures at all. They're really small. There's a kitchen in the room that doesn't get mentioned anywhere. Bathroom is really small, only has a tiny shower in it and no bathtub as shown in the pictures. Check-In was easy, key is getting obtained through a keylock-system which i really liked. WiFi is slow and unstable, phone connection is slow and unstable as well. TV in the room is really old. There's a small balcony for each room which is a good thing for a hotel. Would not recommend. There's better options for this amount of money. Rather would've stayed in a tent for ¼ of the price.

update: Check-Out is until 11 am. I was still in bed at 10 am since I slept in a little. Service randomly entered the room at 10 am without warning, didn't even say sorry. Just a annoyed sigh from her. Never booking this "hotel" (more like a vacation...

I took the last train to rosenheim for some business the next day and arrived at the hotel around 11:30.||I asked where I could store my bike and was told the street.||Ok, I then said I'd be going for a beer and would be back soon as everything closes at 12-1am||The man behind the counter said " NO I AM CLOSING THE DOOR NOW AND LOCKING IT,you have to leave now!"||||Hello!! For 75€ you can get a high end hotel at a ski resort and come and go whenever you want!||||This place is a joke and I will never return, and being told that your LOCKED IN/OUT after 11:45||||Anyways I stayed at the PARK hotel for 120€ which was also dirty and had porno playing on the lobby TV.||||This town has 0 class when it...
