Hotel Jungclaus — Hotel in Wentorf bei Hamburg

A colleague booked us into this hotel, so I was there last week for business.||The hotel is located at a main street which is busy during the day. The rooms are located at the back of the hotel so road noise is minimal even with an open window during the night.||It is a small hotel that also has rooms for single occupancy (which I had for € 79 incl breakfast).||There is a small cafe, run by the receptionist which is also a smoking room.||The restaurant is only used for breakfast and when dining out you will have to take a bus or your car as there is not much around for having a meal (2 km+).||The staff, saw only 2 people, was friendly and courteous and they do speak english.||It appears to be frequented with German sales reps and engineers on their travels||||The room||The single room was clean and has a mini bar, single bed, a small desk and free internet (wifi access) and a small TV.||The bath room had a shower, washing basing and a toilet.Also a hair dryer!||It was all simple but clean and given the price, right on the mark.||||As said it has a bit of a...

I recently stayed at Hotel Jungclaus and I must say, it was an amazing experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a welcoming smile from the staff. The check-in process was smooth and effortless.

A nice room, comfortable beds, a modern bathroom with a spacy shower. We had a room at the front. The street is quite busy, but the windows shut out most of the noise. If you use to sleep with an open window you have to be prepared for disturbing traffic sounds. Maybe we should have used the air condition :) (which we unfortunately found only in the morning).
