Hotel De Texas — Hotel in Ashanti Region

I have been there for one month (few days more or less). Interior is decent, receptionists are smiling most of the time, place have a big pool room (the best thing about this hotel) and that's more-less all positive I can say. First I was in room where air conditioner doesn't work. If you have been in Ghana you know that mean you don't sleep much without it. Next they give me room with working AC but with a view to a WALL. I have never, ever have a room with such view but here it is possible. Hotel also have one big, beautiful room. Unfortunately, I was there only 4 nights. Food is 4/10 but there was always a breakfast problem. You have one, same breakfast every day, no matte how long you stay there. Sorry but I can't eat eggs every day. When I asked to make a simple sandwitch or just some fruit for breakfast the lady manager says it is not possible because it is not breakfast. I try to talk and say it cost less but I will pay full price for breakfast but no help. "This is not breakfast". But they have burgers on a menu, they have a lot of stuff on a menu (although some of them they have never have actually in restaurant, I try to order it but it was never there). It is impossible to talk sense with manager. Rooms are big enough (I have been in 4 of them), bathroom is usualy problem in all of them, hotel was out of electricity almost every day and that was also a big problem. I give it 3/10 all together. There are much better hotles for same...

It's located opposite the Kumasi City Mall on the Hudson Road, it's been there for ages, it was bigger than now, due to the re-construction of the road some parts were demolished. They don't have a secure parking space. Cars are parked in front of the hotel which is directly opposite...
