My family and I were extremely disappointed with the service. I had explicitly confirmed with the property manager that the apartment would be fully accessible for a power wheelchair as I use a power wheelchair full time. I provided measurements of my wheelchair and also asked whether at least one bathroom would be accessible and was assured that wheelchair access to the building and all rooms would be “no issues.”
Upon arrival, it became immediately clear that the property was NOT accessible. There was a step at the building entrance that my wheelchair could not get over. My wheelchair could barely fit through the bathroom doorways.
Insisted (on multiple occasions) they have never had accessibility issues with previous guests in wheelchairs and offered no immediate assistance that night. I was stranded outside for hours that night until we got creative and created a makeshift ramp from nearby concrete slabs we found across the street. Property manager agreed to find a solution but most of the following day was completely wasted waiting and trying to reach them for updates. After being un responsive as time passed, we were forced to purchase our own portable ramp from a store I had shared with the property manager that morning.
If I was informed of the true accessibility of the apartments I would have never booked the apartments in the first place and found past review from guest who reported similar accessibility misrepresentations to mine, contradicting property managers repeated claims that these accessibility issues have never occurred in the past with wheelchair users.

This was the worst accommodation experience I have ever had. My family and I booked five apartments at M & M Boutique Apartments for our stay in Athens. What followed was a series of shocking failures and utter negligence.
On the morning of our arrival, we were told two of our apartments were unavailable. Four of us were moved to a different, dirty, and dilapidated apartment.
The biggest issue, however, was the supposed accessibility. The building has a huge step at the entrance, making it impossible for my cousin's custom-made, 200kg wheelchair to enter. The manager did not care. She left my cousin stranded in front of the building in the middle of the night, offering no help whatsoever. We had to build a makeshift ramp with bricks from a nearby construction site just to get her inside.
The manager promised to bring a proper ramp the next morning but completely ghosted our calls. We were forced to buy a ramp ourselves for around €200. The one she eventually brought later that day was completely unusable for the step.
To add insult to injury, the manager promised to compensate us for all the trouble but then ghosted us entirely. When we filed the complaint through Booking.com, M & M denied any wrongdoing and even accused us of improper behavior.

So i don't want to say something about the apartment but i want to mention the miscommunication with the hostess. When the people in charge from egnatia Odos reassured that the road is closed, we immediately called them and told them to cancel the room and give it to sb else. We didn't have a refund policy, however when i asked her if the money can be returned due to the impossibility to reach Athens, she reassured me that she will forward the request to the refund department. I called her many times since then only to receive the same answer. No one called me though.
