It is going to be a long review but it is worth typing for family operated Bella Cisterna
🏨 We had the pleasure of staying at Bella Cisterna, a charming boutique hotel in Chios, for an extended period of seven nights. Originally planned for just two days, we were so delighted with our experience that we decided to extend our stay for an additional five days.
👩👧👩 From the moment we arrived, Maria and her mom warmly welcomed us, making us feel right at home. Their helpfulness and friendliness truly enhanced our stay and added a personal touch to our experience.
📍 The hotel's location was perfect, with the city center of Chios just a short ten-minute drive away. This allowed us to explore the town easily while enjoying the peaceful ambiance of the hotel.
🍳 One of the highlights of our mornings was the excellent breakfast provided by Maria's mom. Her handmade jars, filled with delicious treats, added a delightful twist to our breakfast experience.
🌳 The hotel's surroundings were picturesque, with an abundance of fruit trees providing a lovely backdrop. We were able to handpick fruits while taking in the breathtaking view of a centuries-old cistern. It created a tranquil atmosphere throughout our stay.
🌴 What truly made our visit unforgettable were Maria's recommendations. She went above and beyond, suggesting the best beaches, restaurants, and even informing us about a traditional festival taking place during our stay. Thanks to her guidance, we were able to explore the hidden gems of Chios and create lasting memories.
🏡 Bella Cisterna truly felt like a home away from home. We are already looking forward to returning and reliving the wonderful experiences we had during our stay. Thank you, Maria, her mom, and the entire team at Bella Cisterna for providing us with such a...
Read moreThis place is absolutely wonderful, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I stayed here with my husband during our vacation, and from the very first moment we arrived, we were impressed. The accommodation is exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a relaxing stay. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get, which gave us a great sense of trust and satisfaction. The location is ideal — central enough to easily reach everywhere we wanted to go, yet quiet and very safe. One of the highlights of our mornings was waking up to the peaceful sound of birds, which made the atmosphere even more special. Another important advantage is that the property has its own parking area, which gave us great convenience and peace of mind throughout our stay. We also want to mention Madam Maria, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. Her warm hospitality made us feel at home and added a personal touch that truly enhanced our experience. The historical texture of the cistern found here is also remarkable, adding a special charm and cultural value to the overall experience. Overall, everything was perfect — from the cleanliness and spaciousness to the central and safe location, the private parking, and the beautiful mornings. Our stay here was memorable in every way, and I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, safety, and a genuinely...
Read moreWe ended up at the Bella Cisterna by chance because our hotel had been evacuated due to the wildfires. What a stunning surprise. Behind the big black gate you walk into an unexpected, quite large garden with trees and an orchard and flowers and everything is so clean, so cared of. Quiet, just the Meltemi. And hosts were so welcoming. And they put us up knowing we could be called by our original hotel any day in case they reopened. So we spent only two days there. Of course our room was cozy and comfortable and breakfast includes home made delicacies and a real marmalade (local oranges, bitter) you cannot find elsewhere. They feature scattered playgrounds for kids and adults, and of course you can walk on the Cisterna, the huge water reservoir built with marble. Top...
