Sivota Seascape Luxury Villas & Residences — Hotel in Igoumenitsa Municipality

Sivota Seascape is a dream of a place to stay. Firstly the location is just stunning right on arguably the best beach in the area and even in peak season you can sit in the beautiful garden with views over the beach but with none of the crowds. Early morning or late evening swims and you have the beach virtually to yourself. ||Antigone, the resident manager could not do enough to help and was able to give llots of helpful advice on where to eat and places to visit. She manages the place impeccably and we have never stayed anywhere so clean and cared for (it is four years old but still looks brand new). We had a 1-bed villa with private pool and both were serviced every single day. It really was immaculate. ||A welcome basket greeted us on arrival but as we were there 13 nights we had a surprise gift of wine, cheese and biscuits mid stay and the lovely owner even stopped by with ice creams to say hello. ||The area was even better than anticipated and we loved regular visits to the charming local town of Sivota with its harbour side restaurants as well as day trips to the breathtaking Vikos Gorge, rafting on the Acheron river, a private boat charter to Paxos and Anti Paxos and a visit to Parga, a larger seaside town overlooked by a lovely hilltop castle. ||This was a very special holiday which was right up there with the very best and we cannot recommend Sivota Seascape highly enough....

Deceptive Practices and Poor Customer Service

We were informed by our resort that after 7 PM, sun loungers were free on the beach. At 8 PM, my family and I were walking along the beach, and I confirmed with an employee at the entrance of the bar of Sivota Seascape Luxury Villas that we didn't have to pay. He confirmed that after 7 PM, it was free of charge. We settled on the beach, but the same person later told us we had to pay $20 for two sets of umbrellas. Not wanting to argue, we paid.

Another family member later told us we shouldn't have paid because it was indeed free. I spoke with the manager/barman, explaining the situation and what other resorts and other people had informed us. He rudely responded that they didn't care about what others said and insisted on the charge.

We ended up paying $20 for just 30 minutes, whereas all the other resorts don’t charge after 7 PM. Our group of eight could have easily spent much more than €20 on drinks. They lure you in by claiming it's free, but once you’re settled, they demand money. Very disappointed—not because of the money but because of their deceptive practices to make...

Amazing luxurious hotel, very very clean with amazing staff. We had a fantastic vacation. |We booked the two bedroom villa with the private pool and we couldn’t ask for more. On the first floor it had a living room, fully equipped kitchen dining room and a full bathroom with rain shower. The second floor had two huge bedrooms and another huge bathroom. Outside was a large patio with table and chairs and the most amazing view and the private pool on the other side. The apartment was cleaned daily and it was spotless. The common areas were spotless as well , very well maintained. The manager Eleni was such a great hostess. She showed us around, gave us tips on restaurants and beaches and helped us with anything we wanted. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could possibly want. One afternoon she came with a complimentary basket with two bottles of wine, cheese and crackers which was such a nice touch.
