Romantica — Hotel in Istiaia-Aidipsos Municipality

When I've decided to book a vacation at this hotel, I had no expectations. All I needed was to relax after a hard period in my life. I was looking for a hotel where pets are allowed, because we always take our dog with us. When we have arrived, we were overwhelmed by the sightseeing. Dimitri and Toula, the owners were absolutely wonderful. They made us feel like visiting old friends, like home. Even if I am not the kind of person who goes 2 times in the same place, there I would go again anytime. The view is spectacular, the food is delicious and cheap, the room is clean and cosy. If you are a demanding person, then this place is not for you. This is the perfect place for dreaming, for relaxing and enjoying life. It is great for couples, families and even for traveling solo. We spent 4 nights at this charming little family run hotel. After exploring the area this hotel has a prime spot in town. It is at the end of the road directly in front of the sea with its own Little deck with chairs and umbrellas it is the only hotel/ apartment in this area to have a private sitting area on the sea front with a few steps down into the crystal clear water. It takes around 10 minutes stroll along the sea front to the centre of town, close enough to the centre but away from the noise, parking chaos + traffic jams as the ferries pull into town every so often. ||Rooms were basic but comfortable sparkly clean with a spacious balcony. We ate twice in the restaurant which requires booking in advance, food was delicious well priced. Excellent breakfast very big portion.
