Grand Village Boutique Inn — Hotel in Karpenisi Municipality

Grand Village Inn - as the name implies- sits at a wonderful position, just at the top part of Megalo Horio, one of the nicest villages in the Karpenisi area. You drive around the village to arrive but once there it's a pleasant stroll down the village following the path by the running steam and through thick vegetation. It's a small, brand new establishment with few rooms. All of them have a magnificent view of the valley . As we visited in the summer we spent most of our time in the balcony. The room itself is very tastefully decorated and everything is of excellent quality. Huge comfortable Coco-mat bed , enormous flat screen tv over the fireplace and - I really loved that - a wooden ceiling with a stylish chandelier. The room is admittedly small ( this might be a problem in the winter when you won't be able to sit in the balcony) but the bathroom is great - very big , with walk in power shower and top quality products. Location: perfect! Beautiful view on the mountains, quiet, 5 minutes walk away from a cosy village centre with restaurants and small shops! Lots of possibilities for hiking. Bigger village “Karpenisi” nearby 15 min. by car! Rooms: perfect! Everything is so well chosen and furnished, high quality of used materials. Very good beds/mattresses. Nice bathroom! Refrigerator is available. Everything super clean! Host: Viki is a very kind and approachable host! Τέλειος ξενώνας, τέλεια δωμάτια, τέλεια περιποίηση από την γλυκιά μας Βίκυ!! Ότι πεις για ξεκούραση, ησυχία, χουχούλιασμα..Πήγαμε για 5 ημέρες και πραγματικά ξεκουράστηκαμε. Το δωμάτιο πεντακάθαρο, με πολύ προσεγμένη αρμονία όλων των επίπλων. Το πρωινό εκτός από τα τοπικά εδέσματα μελι, μαρμελάδες, αυγά, γιαούρτι, ψωμί, κάθε μέρα θα είχε ή τυρόπιτα ή σπανακόπιτα ή ρυζόγαλο κ όλα χειροποίητα! Η θέα φοβερή!Ανοιγες το πρωί τις κουρτίνες κ άνοιγε το μάτι σου από την βλάστηση των ελάτων... πίνακας ζωγραφικής!! Από την μια η θεα, από την άλλη ζεστασιά του χώρου από το τζάκι κ την θερμάστρα,σε δελεάζανε για να μεινεις στο δωμάτιο παραπάνω από το κανονικό...Το συστήνουμε ανεπιφύλακτα!!
