Update after owner's response: Dear Ikyma Boutique,
Thank you for your response.
I would like to kindly clarify a few points from our side as well. Firstly, we informed the reception about the mosquito issue as early as 9 a.m., and we were told that spraying would be arranged. However, this was not done until after 4 p.m., following a second reminder from us. This delay was quite frustrating, especially since we had planned to enjoy time in our room during the day.
Additionally, once the cleaning was completed, we noticed that no towels had been placed in the room — something very basic and expected in any accommodation.
Regarding the housekeeping schedule, we understand that rooms are cleaned in rotation. However, it was surprising — and frankly inconvenient — to be asked to leave our room and wait at that hour, particularly considering the price point of our stay and the short duration of our visit. In our experience, most hotels do not clean rooms after 4 p.m. unless requested.
As for communication, the issue was not that the staff didn’t speak Greek — we absolutely respect that. The concern was that communication in English was also very limited, making it difficult to express even simple requests or concerns.
We waited for nearly an hour after being asked to leave the room, as we were told someone would notify us when it was ready — but no one ever did. While we understand the staff may not be directly at fault, we believe that when a hotel charges premium rates, it should also deliver a level of service and professionalism to match.
We appreciate your effort to respond, and we hope you will take this feedback into serious consideration, as it reflects our genuine experience.
Best regards, Dimitra
Although the location and the beach are excellent, unfortunately, these are the only positive aspects of this hotel.
After housekeeping cleaned our room, it became full of mosquitoes. We informed the reception in the morning, and they told us they would spray the room. However, when we returned from the beach in the afternoon, the room had neither been cleaned nor sprayed.
We went back to reception, and they asked us to leave the room and wait while they handled it. What was supposed to take ten minutes ended up taking an hour.
The breakfast selection is extremely limited, and the service is unacceptable. The staff barely speak English or even Greek, making communication difficult.
There is also a minimum consumption required for the sunbeds, not only for outside guests but even for hotel customers.
Overall, the high prices are simply not justified for the experience this...
Read moreThe hotel is new renovated but definitely not a five star. (3-4 maybe) we paid 300 euro per night so 1500 in total for a sea view room and we had ground floor room with most pool view. So when u booked a seaview double check it to be on first or second floor. We stayed for 5 nights with my husband. Lets start with the good ones. The location is perfect is in the middle of Chalkidiki so whenever u will go is 15 mins with the car and is very close to a lovely beach. The room was good for two people so if you planning for more or family i think try something else due to the size of the rooms. There were clean towels every day and house keeping in daily basis. So the negatives.. When we entered to the room there were mosquitoes everywhere IN THE ROOM.. and on the walls there were marks of previous that smash them. Definitely they know the problem and they dont do anything. We mentioned to the reception and they didnt do anything. We bought for ourselves machines and repellents to keep them away. The breakfast is very poor.. with few choices and there are bees and flies everywhere. The most negative of this hotel is the privacy. There is no provicy at all. The pool of the hotel, the beach bar and the beach is public. I understand the beach to be public but the pool is unreasonable. As we stayed in the ground floor room from 8:00 until 20:00 the pool was full of kids without parenting ( no lifeguards ) . Full of noise all day..and of course there is no place for you to relax on the sunbeds. No security at all. The kids played football and threw the balls on our balcony. Staff looks so miserable, bored and not kind at all especially the hostess of the beach.. And last they never put some still water in our room due to our stay.. Definitely not a...
