Fiki Fiki - A Hidden Culinary Gem
We were searching for a place to enjoy a good lunch or dinner when we stumbled upon Fiki Fiki, a hidden gem with a unique "Chinese-style" chef experience. Unsure whether to go for something budget-friendly or indulge in a quality meal, we chose the latter, and I'm so glad we did—it turned out to be a wonderful decision.
Fiki Fiki is tucked away within a large hotel complex, which added to the sense of discovery. Upon arrival, the friendly security guard kindly called ahead to secure us a table and arranged a parking spot. We took a pleasant 5-10 minute stroll through the hotel grounds, enjoying the sights and atmosphere along the way.
Upon entering the restaurant, we were warmly greeted. We started with a sweet cocktail that was simply delightful. We initially wanted to sit outside, but since it had just stopped raining, we had to wait briefly until the outdoor area was ready.
We ordered a variety of dishes, including bao buns, sushi, and meat, followed by two incredible desserts. As my girlfriend perfectly put it: “This meal felt like a mini-vacation in itself.”
The service was exceptional, going above and beyond. The staff was attentive, refilling our water without needing to ask, offering great meal suggestions, and even shielding us from the sun when it started to get warm.
We had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning. A small suggestion—adding noodles to the menu would be a fantastic addition!
Thank you, Fiki Fiki, for a memorable dining experience. See...

The eggplant dish and the chicken ramen were superb, and the dumplings were very good. The staff was very friendly. They have golf carts driving you back and forth from the parking area. Nice ambiance and music, overlooking the sea. Don’t forget to take a warm jacket if you go, it can get windy and cool!
Bad news:
The Asian salad was awful, the mix of salty soya sauce and truffle was completely unsuccessful. The crab salad was edible, but nothing worth mentioning. We also had the ramens: chicken was very good, a bit too much sauce perhaps, but the shrimp ramen was not tasty.
The sashimi was served too cold, seemed fresh or frozen. Room temperature would have made a difference.
Some main dishes were served very quickly, the rest were served very late, when our friends had already eaten.
After paying over 50€ per person with only two glasses of wine, we had to go for crepe’s because we were still hungry!

Read moreWe stayed at the Kassandra Palace hotel so went here for food one night. Food was excellent. There was only one gluten free option labelled on the menu, which made it difficult to know if this was the only option or if others could be adapted. However after asking, the chefs were very aware of what and what could not be made safe for coeliacs, and adapted the meal accordingly so there were lots of options including a creme Catalana for dessert without some of the toppings. Lovely atmosphere and definite food highlight for us during our stay on Kriopigi (especially the...
