Finikas Studios — Hotel in Kythnos Municipality

The only thing I can report good on these studios is that the bed was very comfy and the sheets were spotlessly clean but that is all I can praise them for, We tried to explain about the problems with the shower but nothing was done. The water went down one drain hole in the shower tray and came back up through another one in the bathroom flooding out into the room and was very smelly. The seating on the balcony was two small stools with wicker seats that had seen better days. The table was covered with a used shower curtain. Not friendly staff and as we are a retired couple we felt very threatened to complain. Luckily we were only booked in for 3 nights. Kythnos Island is beautiful and we will definitely go back again. This hotel was convenient for the Port, but was disappointing in cleanliness. We stayed in April and I suspect that the rooms were not properly prepared ready for the coming season.||There was a separate kitchen area but the hotplates were rusty. There was no bin for litter. We have stayed in such good studios in Greece that this one was a bit of a disappointment. We had no complaints about cleanliness, the bed or the air conditioning, however the studio was less well equipped than most. For instance, there was no kettle or coffee machine and only one tiny pot or one huge pot. It seemed indicative of the place that the only toilet paper were two almost empty rolls. The wifi was slow.
