We stayed in one of the Aeriko Villa's last week (20th August 2023 for a week).||The Villa was clean and relatively modern in terms of decor. It was a nice place to spend a week in. The rooms and living area have good, modern and easy to use air-conditioning, the bathrooms have nice showers and a bath. The kitchen has an oven, a dishwasher, a fridge-freezer and a hob with cutlery and crockery, albeit anything else needed for any kind of cooking (salt/peper etc), wasn't available other than a nice local Olive Oil supplied by the owners. There is a place for BBQ/outside grilling which is good and plenty of chairs/pool furniture/tables to enjoy the lovely Greek sun. Beds are comfortable and firm and bedrooms have closet space. The ladies who cleaned the apartment also provided us with a beautiful fresh cake that was so large even all 4 of us didn't quite manage to get through! The owners checked in with us on several occasions and were lovely, friendly and helpful throughout the stay||The pool is a decent size, clean and well serviced and both the kids (8 and 10), absolutely had a blast playing in it all week, we had trouble getting them out of it!||The Villa's are situated at one end of Agios Ioannis Beach, right next to a beach bar/restaurant and literally a hop across a road to the lovely and large pebbly/sandy beach. The beach is both beautiful, quiet and comfortable, with sunbeds available if you would like, or plenty of room for umbrella's/mats/towels to be put down. The sea is beautiful. The water is clear and lots of fish, worth bringing snorkelling kit to have a look as there is a decent amount and variety to see. In their afternoon's around 1PM, the wind steps up significantly and then the beach isn't as suitable for sun-bathing and/or swimming (especially kids). But you can kite and windsurf! ||The only downside is that the tourists do tend to leave some (not loads), of rubbish on the beach, like everywhere nowadays it seems. We did our best to clear up where we were situated every day, but there is no helping some people sadly. It's not strewn with rubbish, but just a note to people to take it with you and throw it away I guess. I would recommend either buying or bringing a lot of shade to the beach as the Greek sun as always is very hot!||The beach has 4 bar/taverna's to eat in, with 3 being open evenings. There are a couple of additional bars as well. 1 of these was very slow service, but the one located closest to the apartment is decent and good food. We did find that at times we wanted a little more choice, but it's worth noting that Lefkada Town is a very short drive away (8mins) and has a huge range of bars, taverna's and restaurants of many types to choose from, as well as many shops and amenities||The Island has a lot of beaches to explore and things to do, with boat trips to other Ionion Islands offered at the ports as well and was worth exploring.||Overall our stay in Lefkada was relaxing, fun and enjoyable and Aeriko was a lovely place to stay for a week. We had happy and excited children all week, who continually looked like prunes for being in either the sea or the pool! ||I would 100% recommend hiring a car with a warning that at points some of the driving on the island was 'interesting', albeit no different to other places in Europe where some road rules are only...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at Aeriko Villas in Lefkada, and it was an unforgettable experience! The villas offer breathtaking views of the Ionian Sea, making every moment there picturesque. Waking up to such a stunning panorama was truly a highlight of our trip.
The villas are impeccably equipped with everything you could possibly need. From the fully stocked kitchen to the spacious and comfortable living areas, every detail has been thoughtfully considered. The private pool was a perfect touch, providing a refreshing escape with a view that never gets old.
What made our stay even more special were the amazing hosts. They were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Whether it was helping with local recommendations or arranging activities, their hospitality was outstanding.
If you're looking for a luxurious, serene getaway with all the comforts of home and spectacular views, Aeriko Villas is the place to be. We can't...
Read moreConsidering these are self catering villas, the service provided by the owners and Maria is exceptional. They were on hand via watsap whenever we needed them and even went as far as organising us a hire car!||||The pool was very clean. Pool and outside gardens were attended to daily. Villas cleaned twice during our stay.||||Villas well equipped and extremely comfortable. Beds have good matresses with quality linen. ||||As for the area, we travelled around the island by car and decided, for us, Agios Ioannis beach was the nicest area to stay due to the constant cooling breeze. There are a few good beach bars within walking distance, but I would recommend a car to get around the island and experience all it...
