Ilios Club Hotel & Villas — Hotel in Lefkada Municipality

Set in beautiful gardens the apartments are well equipped and spotlessly clean each with a balcony or terrace plus air conditioning. Georgina is an outstanding welcoming host and nothing seems to be too much trouble for her. I have a bad back and she changed my room so that I did not have a steep walk up to the first apartment I occupied. (the view from the top apartments is astounding). Breakfast is very good and comprehensive with fresh fruit, cereals, bread, cheese and croissants and more with lovely Sophia on hand to help if need be. Do go to the Greek night - it was the highlight of my holiday - wonderful food and authentic Greek dancing-worth every penny! Nearby and within walking distance are some lovely restaurants set on the sea opposite Nydri. If there has to be a negative then it is that you will need a car if you want to see the island's resorts or go shopping. Some of the beaches are pebbly but with crystal clear water but overall perfectly charming. I would have loved to stay longer. Thank you...

My second time here (for a swimming trip). My first thought is, you need to be of able body to get to some of the rooms - it's all paved, but as you venture up the hillside, there's bit of a steep walk. All the rooms seem to have a balcony and AC (I never use it myself). This feature is my only 'complaint'. Some of the AC units are noisy and my neighbouring apartment unit was mounted on my apartment's wall... Location is wonderful, as is the little bar and pool. A good selection of nice restaurants just a short amble away, all beside the water, which is really nice. There's a beach where you can swim just 2.5km walk away (Desimi beach)and it's a very pleasant little walk, I highly recommend it - there are a couple of bars/restaurants there and places to park of you don't want to walk. Nydri is a short car drive away and offers a big selection of shops, services, restaurants. But you'll be wanting to get back to your private hideaway...

Mixed feelings. Quiet nice place for families. Overal facility is not great not terrible.

The place is quiet and it is designed for families that go to bed at most at midnight.

If you want party then this isn't your place. The room we were in was designed for 4 people but they rented it for 5 and the 5th was in the living room where there is no air conditioner. We were there in august and the temperatures were 25-26 at midnight so without air conditioner it is hell. The oven was doing a short circuit and the owner knew about the problem. He said he won't fix it anytime soon. It is advertised that there is parking for you but the reality is that there is parking for you if you are back from the sea early. There is no slots that are ment for you so asume you don't have park place. The shower was broken and we...
