WOW!!!

Never have we ever had an experience like this from a restaurant.

I am going to start this review with 2 disappointments.

1. Having had to ask for the Bill - not what you might be thinking, just because it meant that our night was coming to an end.

2. Having drove to the restaurant and not got a taxi - because we could have stayed there all night.

But never have we ever experienced service and quality like this.

THE SETTING: So lets start with the setting - Wow, just wow, a beautiful location over looking the tranquil waters and mountains in the background, the restaurant itself is set out to make an amazing atmosphere, with music in the background thats perfect for the setting and layout that immediately gets your eyes looking towards the water. The water brings tranquility with the only sound of the boats lapping or moving about. The views are breathtaking and give a sense of being surrounded by mountains on all sides that I have only ever experience in the Italian lakes.

THE FOOD: Just brilliant, everything so tasteful your mouth senses so many different flavours that compliment each other so well. There were 3 of us each having a different dish but each so impressed with what was served and tasted of each others. Only regret not being able to sample them all.Just pure food heaven. The menu is perfectly done, not giving you 20 different choices for each course but a handful that is an amazing selection that is brought to life by the owner and making you wish you could just have it all.

THE SERVICE: I leave this to last as this is EXCEPTIONAL.I/we have never experienced anything like it and I have been to some exceptional restaurants in London. It's made by Kostas (and im not saying this because we share the same birthday😁) the owner, he is involved sharing full detail of the menu and giving excellent wine choices. It is him that leads from the front and his staff follow his lead with exceptional service. Never not wanting for anything, before your wine or water has even finished they are there to refill. Always checking in (in a non intrusive way) to make sure everything is ok. Kostas himself brings stories, passion about the food and his place that just emphasises the experience.

Every little detail is thought of and made to make you feel special.

This is absolutely a place I would recommend and insist to anyone to visit and experience.

Trust me on this take a taxi, get a lift or walk if you go as you will just want to spend the whole evening there because of the great food, great drink, great setting and most of all the truly great service.

Thank you Kostas (fellow Scorpio) to you and your team for what is one of my most favourite (if not most favourite) ever dining experiences.

I think another reviewer said if you can give this more than 5 stars, it would be worth 7 or 8 for sure....

My wife and I had the good fortune of booking Seaside Apartments for the first week of our honeymoon. It was our first time visiting Lefkada and I really feel like we hit a hole-in-one with this location and accomodation. It offers exceptional value for money. Vaso looks after the apartments, a lovely woman with a kind soul. She made us feel very welcome, we loved getting to know her and some of the local cats she cares for. Konstantinos (Kostas) focuses more on the Restauraunt next door. What a character, we adore him! A natural host in his element, brimming with energy and so passionate about the hospitality he provides - it's inspiring. And so generous too, he really made us feel special. Our apartment was clean, spacious, the bed was comfortable, plenty of wardrobe storage, nice bathroom with a walk-in shower. The outside space is fantastic. The bedroom opens onto a gated seating area with a sun awning for shade and privacy, this walks out onto the infinity swimming pool and then rows of different seating options (sofa, sun loungers) in front of that, leading down to the jetty. The view is breathtaking and it's a lovely spot to watch boats coming in and out of the bay and it's calm waters. The restauraunt is next door. There's a wide path separating them so it doesn't feel too close or overlooked. I enjoyed the ambience from it, it's a classy place and they play nice background music. We had our 'fancy' meal here and Kostas took good care of us, including some impromptu wine tasting lessons! Geni was an excellent location for us. It's very quiet and peaceful, but only an 8 minute drive into Nidri which is more lively, and plenty of other interesting places within a 20/30 minute radius. There are a few other restauraunts/tavernas in Geni so you could probably get by without transport, but obviously depends what kind of holiday you want to have - we like to explore.

I want to make clear the feedback from "POCE LUCI MOLTE OBRE" because it's definitely not true.||Me, the so called maid, i am Gabriele, a guest from Austria since 2014, i come to SeaSide every year for 4weeks.||The accusations from the italian family are most likely fictitious (probably they are a simply knitted working family).||Their statements, "it's not clean, worn, too less cookware, apartment is too small,..." are definitely not the truth!||Fact is that the probably maladjusted son of the family, ruined the sofa in the apartment (please refer pictures) and the landlord claims damages.||The apartment is in a very clean condition, fitted with ceramic files, no wear existing, daily room service including room cleaning, fresh towels for bath and beach, and so on...||The guests every wish is fulfilled!||They had to wait only 15 minutes for the landlord because the matter of compensation must be clarified. They denied everything and claimed, the sofa was damaged before they arrived. They paid nothing for the damage they caused.||In the end i have to emphasize that the italian family showed no kind of respect towards the extremely friendly greek host also not towards the others apartment guests. ||My soul hurts to see how people can make such a big damage and destroy a apartement furnished with love...
