Ionion Fos Lefkas — Hotel in Lefkada Municipality

Had a lovely stay here. The owner is very sweet and gave us a cucumber from her own garden. We arived a little bit to early, so we had to wait an hour before we could get in our apartment, but she gave us some water and cookies. Everything was clean and it's was a nice apartment. Room cleaning was fine, except it was less than advertised. We had an apartment for 2 with seasight, this was only a small window. The only window, so it was dark all the thime wich was a shame. The airconditioning didn't work, and the fridge did not freeze. Those were the two things wrong with the appartment, all the other things worked completely fine.

The pool is amazing. Because there are only 14 apartments, its not that busy. The view is breathtaking... It's a shame the sunset is on the other side of the Island. So we had to get up early for the sunrise 😂. There wasn't a restaurant or bar of some kind to get some food, the nearest restaurant was 30 minutes walking distance... But still it was so worth it and especially...

Wow. What an amazing find,! . ...and if you can harness the delights of the internal combustion engine or can ignore the challenge of getting up the hill in the first place, even better.

The views here are sublime and more than worth the remoteness from civilisation .... Although tbh the closest supermarket is only 1 mile(s) away...(#lazy tourist)

The accommodation is totes amazing, reliable air-conditioning and fully fitted kitchen, lounge and TV.... although why you need a TV with this kind of view and infinity pool escapes me. The owner is also an amazing lady who genuinely cares, although her chosen language is German, so if you don't speak the lingo, you will be able to perfect your acting skills in time for the BAFTAS...

I stayed at Ionian Fos as a single traveller and the quality of service and accommodation were second to none. ||Whilst it is accessible on foot via a 30min+ uphill walk I would 100% recommend this is only booked if you hire a car. ||Toula is an incredible hostess and an utter delight to deal with- nothing is too much trouble and she goes over and above to be helpful.||The apartments are clean, well-equipped and fabulously laid out.
