Nidri Bay Studios — Hotel in Lefkada Municipality

Although it's right on the sea side and the view is really nice, the poor management of this hotel can make you regret staying there. The house keeping is poorly done and just twice a week. Our room was in the back building with just a side view of the Nidri golf and had a huge open balcony but it was full with dirt.We had to clean the plastic seats and table to be able to sit. He had a 2nd floor room, the stair way is very tight, I bearly lifted the troller, it would be impossible to access for older persons.||We didn't have high expectation as we knew it was a studio but finding centipedes in the shower cabin is unacceptable. Water was leaking in the whole bathroom and there was no ventilation so there was high humidity and a bad smell. The room was big but the bed was unconfortable, I got back pain when waking up in the morning.||The two pools are nice and there is also a pool bar but with such beautiful beaches around, we didn't spend too much time there.||Restaurants and shops are minutes away and there is also a large parking lot really close. The private beaches with sun beds are ~300m far from the studios but it's a straight walk by the sea.||We stayed in the 3d week of September but I don't recommend this period as it rained 4 out of 7 days. At night it gets colder so you would net a jacket.||There is free wi-fi in the building but it has a bad signal and it doesn't always work.||The room also had a really small TV (only greek channels), AC, a fridge and a...

Beware of the poolside rooms (not the pool view rooms). There are the last to be renovated. Photos dont lie. The photos from the site tells a better story but in other rooms.||||A simple electric hob its not a kitchenette (no there`s not even a kitchen hood either or some cabinets)||||An old wardrobe dresser it's not enough for a family with a child. ||||The only table is the one outside on the "balcony"||||The bathroom fan is just for decoration.||||The mirror shelf is a fragile plastic. It holds only the toilet paper.||||The light in the room is extremely poor (economical lightbulbs is not a practical solution)||||Because of the terrace there is a lot of noise until late at night (so you can kiss a plesant evening goodbye)||||The room is spacious because there is not much of furniture there. No table, no chairs etc||||Yes, it is close to all you need in Nidri but it comes with a big parking problem (on the street; good luck). ||||Be sure to come early from the beach because hot water is limited in colder days or when the "hotel" is full. ("parking" also).||||The bed is not for tall people. You will sleep with your feet throught the bars of the bed.||||If a summer storm passes by, be sure to put down some towels to the door.||||There is too much to say ... ||||Just enjoy the photos and think...

At the moment we got in our room, we saw that toilet seat is missing and that kitchen isn't working. Immediately we told that to the man who is incharge and he sad that they will fix it. After 4 days of waiting and looking for him, we bought a new toilet seat. They return our money for that but I know that they wouldn't do anything if we did not buy it. ||We payed for room with kithen and bathroom, but kitchen was broken and we couldn't use it. Bathroom was leaking on all sides.||Only good thing in these apartments is pool. Apartments are not like they are in they're website, just few are renovated but the rest of apartments...
