Mamma Mia — Restaurant in Lefkada Municipality

Worst restaurant I’ve found so far. It took 2 hours to receive the food, we had to ask numerous times the waiter for at least a bottle of water while we wait for the food. When the food came, in the mix grill the pork meat was made mostly of bones, the chicken was very dry and the other meat (lamb I think) was having a bit of a spoiled taste. The salads had frozen salmon and shrimps and we could taste the ice. The bread was dry like it was left outside all day. The pastitsio (which was described as a lasagna and served with french fries) that we ordered to try for the first time was so bad that we went home sick and thrown up all night. Unexpected bad experience, waited around 25 minutes for having the menu, other 70 minutes for some very simple food (indeed, it was full house, however this is not a realistic excuse) and finally around 20 minutes for having the bill - and it would have been more but I decided to go and discuss directly with the owner who had a quite indiferent attitude but at least released the bill. It worth mentioning that after we finished the dinner, NOBODY cleaned the table, all dishes and rests of food stayed the entire period on the table. Regarding the quality of the food, I would say it is below average - extremely fat meat and greasy swimming fries. The fish, salad and musaka were quite ok... but nothing to ask for on a second time. Overall, we will avoid this place...

Pretty poor service, rude staff and all very slow.

One staff member, a young blonde lad, was pretty mouthy. When he came to drop our mains off I jokingly mentioned the size of the table and that the plates would struggle to fit. "Sorry, I should have found you a smaller table" was his response. We then asked 3 different staff members for the bill before walking to the desk to ask again. When we told the same lad that we had waited 25 minutes for the bill he said "it should have been 30". He then got our table number wrong and had to ask a woman, I assume his mother, for help adding up the bill.

Overalll the food was good, service was lacking big time.

I think the owner needs take her boy out back, give him a bit of a spanking and teach him some...
