White Rock Villas Lygia — Hotel in Lefkada Municipality

Overall the house was very nice, clean and modern. We were renting the middle house with private pool and Jacuzzi. We were 4 adults, no children.

The house was clean and tidy when we arrived. The host was welcoming and explained everything in detail. Also left his contact details in case we need anything. Overall the first impression was quite welcoming. House seemed smaller than we expected it to be, but still more than enough space. Outdoor area was wonderful.

Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and modern. Please note, that bathrooms as well as toilets are very open, so you have to feel comfortable with the people you are sharing the room.

The kitchen was however not fully equipped, at least not the standard I expected for the price. There is no dish washer (for 4 PAX it gets annoying), no washing machine, no oven (only microwave).

Also, as welcoming as the host was, I had to confirm everything via phone and in the end there were a couple of miscommunications regarding changing the bed sheets. We spent the whole week without a change of sheets...its not a big issue, however maybe a different solution can be found.

When booking, the booking confirmation stated we will receive a fruit basket and some wine upon arrival. I feel this would have been a really nice gesture, however there was nothing. I normally wouldn´t expect this, but as mentioned, it was stated in the booking.

The only toilet with an actual door didn´t work properly. The host did send someone to repair it pretty fast, however, the problem was not solved permanently. We basically just stopped using this toilet as we didn´t want to have to call the host all the time.

Overall, the accommodation is very new, modern and has a great outdoor area. The host is indeed welcoming and friendly. However due to the issues stated above, I cannot give the full 5 stars as I honestly expected a bit more...

We had a great time snd really enjoyed the stay at the middle house with private pool and jacuzzi, however, giving 4 stars because of the very busy road next on your door step. Forget piece and quiet when sitting, dining, using the pool. The road is very busy, a bit quieter over weekends, but still.... This was a big disadvantage for us. In the pictures you can not see the road, neither states in the listing. Oveall house is very nice, we are family of 4, so plenty of space, cosy, comfortable bedding. Cleanliness 4 stars. Host was very nice, friendly and helpful. A few down points: one of the shower head did not spray water as it should, we think its congested with limescale. Frying pan is very old and too big for induction hob which did not work as it should. Only one good size pot for cooking wasn't enough. The other one was way too big for the hob as well. Oh...and there are no bins in the kitchen, they are outside. Everything else was...

The villa is more beautifull in real live,than the pictures. When you arrive,the view it’s breathtaking! The villa has everything that you can ask for(even cabinet for medicines with all the basics),and if not,Takis-the most wonderfull host will provide you with what you need. Besides the most wonderfull Lefkada,with all the beaches,with the “blue Lefkada” water,what made our holiday -The Best Holiday,was our host,Takis! If you want information about beaches,restaurants,boat trip,scooter rental,sightseeing,he knows it all and he will help with everything that he can. The greek hospitality in person is Takis.
