Faedra Beach Resort — Hotel in Municipality of Agios Nikolaos

We are deeply disappointed with the accommodation conditions offered by Hotel Faedra Beach.|We received a suite in which there was a strong smell of mold and humidity, which did not disappear throughout the stay. This made us feel that our health was threatened. The room did not look at all like the one mentioned in the agency's offer. The wardrobe does not offer the possibility of arranging clothes on shelves, with only a few hangers available, so we were forced to store our clothes in suitcases, improperly. The only socket in the bedroom is located between the wardrobe and the wall, making it impossible to use it. The red LED light from the exhaust lighting above the bed is directed downwards towards the head and is disturbing at night, etc.|After two days they offered us a double room (not even a triple) with an extendable armchair, without the possibility of returning the price difference. The manager's justification was that he had nothing else available, the hotel being fully booked, he didn't mention the fact that he had offered one room and allocated another. I loved this hotel. It has everything we wanted. Friendly staff at the top of the list who were so accommodating, especially Via who made sure I had oat milk in the mornings for coffee and cereal as I have a dairy allergy and all the kitchen staff who were so friendly and welcoming. |The breakfast is simple and European style with some Greek options. I loved coming down for breakfast and sitting listening to the waves and all the different nationalities talking around me. The food is typically Greek and very fresh. On the first night we arrived very late due to flight delays but they accommodated us with meatballs and salad. My two teenage kids loved the pool and the simplicity of the hotel and all the water sports on the beach. |In terms of anything to improve, it was the simplicity that was so great but just a couple of things:|It would be nice to have a single saucepan or frying pan in the kitchenette. There were two stoves in our bedroom but nothing to cook anything with! Would have been great to heat up some baked beans or something simple for my daughter. |The other thing is just to have more options at breakfast for those of us who are dairy or gluten free. It would just make it feel more inclusive. |There is only shampoo in the room and no conditioner or hand soap. |And finally no hair dryer. |But we could get by fine without all these things and really hope to come...

Absolutely AMAZING! I wouldn’t stay anywhere else! My partner and I have stayed here a couple of times now and he’s been here around 5 times with his family. Every time we could we never want to leave. The staff are so friendly, we feel like family there. The rooms are cleaned every single day (which does tend to happen in most hotels). The breakfast always has so many things to choose from. The views are just amazing everywhere you go. The town is only a 5 minute drive from the hotel, which is a gorgeous place to visit with some gorgeous views onto the sea from on the hill. I also love this hotel because there’s always so much to do. The beach has its own ‘water sports’ where you had go on a jet ski etc at a great price. The pool is quiet so you don’t have to run down in the morning to get a sun bed - there’s always sun beds free!! (Again you really don’t see this a lot). And then there’s the beach just across the road with MORE gorgeous views! Including a lovely friendly restaurant which you get a 10% discount at if you’re staying in the hotel - it’s already very cheap!! Honestly, I have been a lot of different places on holiday and this hotel is my very favourite!! I will definitely be returning next year!
