Lazar Lux Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Agios Nikolaos

I stayed in the garden view studio apartment. What a gorgeous place! Beautiful decor, spotlessly clean, cool and comfortable. Well stocked mini bar fridge and kitchen with wine and fruit on arrival. Amazing shower! Luxurious surroundings, gardens and the pool are so beautiful. It would be ideal for families, couples and solo travellers. I felt so lucky to stay in such luxury.||||The staff are just the friendliest, loveliest people! Manos the manager really cares that his guests have a relaxed holiday. They were very welcoming and nothing is a problem. The room was spotless every day I returned. And the food.... I have never ever had such amazing breakfasts! Katerina makes cretan food like mama used to make! Something different each day. Pies, cakes, omelette, salads, fruit ....all home made and presented with such attention to detail. Be prepared to be blown away by this food! ||||The location is 1 minute from the most beautiful, sandy beach. I went in the clear turquoise sea each morning and there is a gorgeous open air taverna selling great food on the shore. The views of the mountains around the sea are quite breathtaking. ||||It is about 5 mins drive or bus from the busy town of Agios where I have stayed before. I will always come back to Ammoudara now as I fell in love with the peace and quiet, the convenience, and I can't wait to go back to Lazar Lux with family and friends.||||No one will be disappointed here! Our room was clean and well furnished however it was allocated directly across the pool pump and we had a continues irritating noise come from the wall where the bed head was placed Every time the pool pump was activated there was a buzzing noise coming from the wall The pump was operating from 8:00am to 10;00pm so there was no way you could sleep during the day It also come on about 3:00am at night for about 1 to 2 hours which woke us up This issue was made known to the staff who than advised the manager while we were present The manager dismissed the issue as if to say it is your problem live with it It is the first time in my experience that a hotel manager displayed such attitude Normally a good manager would investigate the issue and try to assist and find a solution for the client The cleaning and catering staff on the other hand were very friendly and pleasant to deal with. I would not stay at this resort again because when I am on holidays I want to relax not be stressed and on edge with comities irritating noises. We stayed in room 10 with my husband and two children.
