Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price

We stayed at Naiades Boutique Beach Hotel for the final three nights of our honeymoon, hoping for a luxurious and relaxing end to our trip. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of expectations.

First and foremost, the hotel is definitely not worth the price—what we paid was far too high for what we received. At best, the experience should be priced around €150 per night, not more.

A major issue is the misleading room listings. On booking.com, the hotel uses the best photos from multiple rooms under one listing, giving the impression that all rooms look like that. In reality, the rooms vary significantly in size, layout, and quality, and ours did not reflect what was advertised.

Additionally, we found some of the male staff unprofessional and even intrusive. On one occasion, a male staff member entered our room without knocking, while we were inside and not appropriately dressed. This was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable in any hospitality setting.

I went to this stunning hotel on my own to have a relaxing week in warm Crete. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly and whenever I needed something someone was there to assist my needs. The rooms are really modern, spacious and luxurious with a great AC. If you stay in a sea-view room i can guarantee the view will be amazing. The breakfast is good, aswell as the others dishes they offer for lunch and dinner. Un bel hôtel très récent et avec une vue magnifique, mais pas tout-à-fait terminé.

Notre "chambre supérieure vue mer" était exposée sud et ouest : très pratique pour bénéficier du soleil sur la terrasse pratiquement toute la journée (vraiment appréciable en octobre !!!), mais avec une vue à 60% sur la mer (très jolie), à 30% sur la montagne (jolie) et à 10% sur la route (bruyante)

Le personnel est très sympathique et disponible (Réception, petit-déjeuner, ménage). Ils nous ont même fourni deux petites cafetières individuelles à piston pour préparer nous-même notre café grec le jour du départ (heure très matinale).

Notre chambre était parfaite (joli style épuré, belle vue, literie très confortable, propreté exemplaire, terrasse avec jacuzzi privatif, climatisation silencieuse et orientée parfaitement, belle salle d'eau avec une pression forte au "micro" de la douche).

Le petit-déjeuner est plutôt complet, mais il manque de la variété pour le pain et pour la confiture (seulement à l'abricot) et on s'attendait ici à du jus d'orange fraichement pressé. La Crète produit pourtant des oranges qui sont délicieuses !

La vue depuis les transats de la terrasse de l'hôtel est réellement splendide et c'est un grand plaisir de voir toute la journée les allers-retours des bateaux qui se rendent à Spinalonga depuis Elounda.

-Il y a un ponton pour accéder à la mer, mais, hélas, certains petits murets de l'hôtel ne sont pas achevés, tout comme le bar de plage qui reste en construction. S'y ajoute des gravats sur le côté droit, près du loueur de bateaux. Tout cela est certainement temporaire, mais gâche l'impression générale d'un hôtel plutôt premium.

Nous reviendrons donc au Naïades Beach Hôtel avec grand plaisir quand toutes les finitions indispensables...
