My Terrible rating is based mainly due to our kids gluten intolerance, if you do not have gluten intolerance, slide down below where the rest of the hotel is rated. I have asked the hotel prior our arrival if they have gluten free options - the hotel responded that in every restaurant is possible to get gluten-free option. When arrived in the hotel - this is true, but the options are just unacceptable.||In buffet-style restaurant where there are plenty of foods - the only gluten free option were grilled vegetables. Even roasted meat is marinated in marinade which contains gluten which is really strange. Also, potatoes, etc. And when you arrive at such a restaurant you do not wish to wait another 15-30 minutes to be prepared something gluten free since you already are hungry. And honestly, you cannot eat French fries for every meal. ||At a la carte restaurants - you have to ask for everything, the allergens are just not market at the menus which is also for a person quite terrible experience. We also ordered gluten-free ice-cream as room service and it was delivered dipped in something which looked like gluten biscuits. ||So overall if you have gluten intolerance or allergy, please, in order to not be disappointed just avoid this hotel campus, they are just not ready for us. ||||On the other side - if you do not have gluten problem the hotel is very nice, we were welcomed really nicely with welcome drinks (many types – you can see in pictures). All personnel are trying to be helpful; we really liked the sceneries; it really looks like on the photos (which is not always usual). ||We had the Delos villa - the only slight disappointment is that is not so private - we could see the neighbors because the dividing hedge was just too much cut, I would personally prefer more privacy. ||||The campus is way too wide - there is not map, they will suggest you their app which doesn’t work really well all the time. Yet if you like walks its really nice big campus.||||The beach is ideal for small kids (even small kids could play in the sea because it’s very shallow for long time). When you book a villa you have also private gazebo - yet if you manage to get there (there are no signs and you have to ask the personnel how to get there), there is no map where yours is (I mean the Gazebo), but once you get around everything is really very nice. ||The beach is really sandy (no pebbles, not imported sand or whatsoever) and it seem private – not overcrowded and really very nice beach. ||||So overall I would rate the hotel fantastic if you do not have any food intolerance, yet having the gluten intolerance, it was really big disappointment. You really do not want to spend your holidays asking all the time somebody about gluten, there are already hotels having marked everything everywhere what is suitable for people with certain food disabilities and are ready for these people much more. ||Because of that we only stayed 2 nights instead of 7, the hotel didn’t offer to compensate (I didn’t ask them to, yet I would expect proactive approach – they knew we were leaving because of the food problem), but I trust it’s...
Read moreThe exclusive boutique hotel in mainland of Greece.||3 highlights: privacy, luxury accomodation, stunning beach||Hotel is built in classic greek style. Area is pretty big and you feel privacy almost everywhere. You can choose to stay in Suite or Villa. They are fully renovated, spacious and extra clean. In villa you even find glassed atrium which brings natural light to all rooms and with fontaine in the middle it makes really “wow” effect.||Cleaning is made twice a day and it is simply 100%professional work.||There is nothing better than start a day with great breakfast. This is what you fully enjoy here. Fresh food with a lot of choices and excellent service. The place for breakfast is superb, you have nice view to the ocean and you can enjoy breakfast in relaxed and very private atmosphere. We are experienced travellers mostly in 5* hotels and this is no doubt one of the best breakfast we have ever had.||Beach is amazing. To be honest much better than i was expecting. As the hotel is at the top of the rock you must walk down the steps and there is huge, long and wide beach with soft sand. Ideal place for kids or walking around. Water is super clean, deep water is far away, so again the best deal for kids. If you stay in villa there is private cabanas for you, but there is also enough sunbeds for everyone from hotel. In whole beach you probably meet only few people and it makes you thinking to be alone there. Really the privacy and a space just for you is amazing.||Dining options are broad, but i would recommend to visit either fine dining restaurant Cap Voyage or Asian style restaurant L´Orient. Other choices from two grecotels around Mandola Rosa are fine, lets say it meets the expectations, but level lower compare to these two mentioned (lot of people, worse service, not so fancy food). For lunch we would recommemd Sea Dunes with fresh catches.||Mandola Rosa is exclusive private place. Special thanks to Alexander O. and superb service...
Read moreThe resort includes 4 hotels to choose from and as a guest of Mandola Rosa you can enjoy all of them plus aquapark. The beach is just perfect so the concept overall is fantastic. ||Lets start with our butler - Ioanna. She is absolutely at right place, coming every morning to pick us up her smile truly brightened our day. She was taking perfect care of us during our stay and thanks to her we could enjoy everything! She was very professional and her service was outstanding!||Need to mention that villa Apollonia si quite removed from the main building so with small kids it would not be pleasant without help. |Talking about villa - it is little bit crazy. There is no kitchen at all, so the fridge is just standing alone. The room in ordinary hotel is often more comfortable than this villa 🤦♀️ during our stay it also smelt terribly in the villa and for example sinks did not drain…|Also in entire resort several things would need better maintenance, for example some parts of aquapark and pool at riviera had mold on stairs. The positive fact is that the villa has very nice access to beach (to access the beach from main building is harder). ||Restaurants - sadly nothing special. In terms of food we only enjoyed tratoria. And we liked fish at cap voyage. Menus have potential for improvements and desserts are not interesting. We really enjoyed breakfasts at Mandola. Great atmosphere! The coffee could be better. ||Overall we have really enjoyed our stay and for families with kids I would recommend LUXME Oasis - this resort next to Mandola has great swimming pool, All inclusive concept with great crepes:-), and nice and comfortable access to beach. Without kids go for Mandola Rosa🩷 ||Once again, special...
