Saluti Da Stampalia Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Astypalaia

Amazing boutique hotel. This was our 5th trip to this island but first stay at this hotel recommended by one of the locals. It was incredible. The hotel staff (Virginia, Aggeliki, Dimitra, Virginia, Nantia, Andreas, Yiorgos) became part of our family and we became a part of their family. |We loved our 2 level suite with an incredible deck (jacuzzi the size of a pool with multiple sitting areas) with amazing views of the water and town above on the cliffs. |The staff was like a Greek mother in the morning when it came to breakfast time. We usually don’t eat much for breakfast but we certainly did at this hotel. They would not take no for an answer and always wanted us the try the foods freshly prepared that morning! They were always correct when they said this is the best tart, pie, cake, etc that you’ve ever had! ||We loved our donkey friend Thanasi who assisted us each day. ||It was very hard to leave our new family after a week. We will always stay here when we return each year. ||Hotel is very conveniently located and it’s about 10 minute walk to the beach with all of its restaurants.||The island is also very unique in that it has a transportation system, consisting of electric VW vans, which make stops at different locations around the island. It is called Astybus. You just download their app and purchase passes and then summon it when you are ready. ||We can’t wait to return to...

Whether you’re a seasoned traveler or a first-time visitor to the island, this spot is an absolute must.

The space itself is stunning- effortlessly stylish yet warm and inviting, with every detail thoughtfully curated. It blends traditional island charm with modern elegance, and the view? Breathtaking. Sunset here feels like a private show.

Now, the food. Wow. Every dish bursts with flavor and authenticity, crafted with local ingredients and a serious passion for quality. From the freshly baked breads to the seasonal specials, everything was flawless.

We spent a full week at Saluti Da Stampalia in Astypalaia, and it was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. The room was incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, with an absolutely breathtaking view.

But what truly sets this place apart is the people. Virginia, Aggeliki, and Dimitra went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Every day, they helped us plan the perfect itinerary - suggesting the best beaches and restaurants to explore around the island. Their warmth and care made all the difference.

And we can’t forget Nandia, who prepared our breakfast each morning. Her food was beyond delicious - every dish felt like it was made with love, and honestly, she deserves an award for it. Breakfast became one of the highlights of our day.

Words really can’t describe how much we enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful, genuine, and full of heart. We’re already counting down the days until we can return next year.
