This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. • For the first time in my life, I was not asked for identification at check-in. • Guests paying in cash were not given receipts. • Despite booking two months in advance, I never received a confirmation email. When I arrived, I discovered that my reservation dates had been changed without my knowledge. When I complained, I was told to “go somewhere else”—an impossible request in the middle of July at 8:30 p.m. when no rooms were available anywhere. • There was no elevator, and no assistance was provided with luggage. The owner and his friends, despite being very capable of helping, simply watched. I had to carry my belongings upstairs piece by piece by myself, repeating the same exhausting process when leaving. • The room itself was old, poorly maintained, and far below the standard one would expect.

The only positive point was the breakfast, which at first was rich and varied. Unfortunately, even this declined in quality after 4–5 days of my 12-day stay. Also, they reserved for themselves the parking in front of the hotel and I had to leave my car in a market parking lot and walk quite a distance to the hotel.

Overall, the lack of professionalism, customer care, and basic hospitality was shocking. I would strongly advise...

The hotel was, judging by street view, a very good looking place from the outside at one time of day. Not now, the trees are overgrown so from the balconies the square is hidden. The hotel has no email address although it has WiFi? We phoned and booked but when we arrived the person on duty had to phone somebody to find out if we were staying there. (We were the only guests). The bed was made except for the top sheet. We found it under the towels and made the bed ourselves. The mini fridge needed defrosting. There were so many small faults that I am not recording because this list could go on for ever. The main issue was the two lights above the bed attached to the wall. Each light was ready to fall because the screws and raw plugs were put into holes that were to big. The hotel could be restored to a reasonable standard if the owners were bothered. At 50 euros per night without breakfast we cut out stay short. 1 star for...

Avoid this low class hotel- no value for money First of all the photos of the stone building/ under reconstruction rooms are fake. The rooms are with broken circuits ( like the old pictures in 1980s). In the entrance-reception of the hotel, there were bikes and motorcycles... like a garage or parking area or warehouse. Unacceptable behaviour of the owner. When we first checked-in, I checked the bathroom...( thanks God I always curry disinfectant with me because the self under the mirror was dirty). The cleaning lady never came to clean the room and change the toilet bin bag ( because they don't clean during the accommodation...and after that the owner was rude...
