We stayed 3 nights in late September. ||We understand that the hotel only opened in July 2018, so everything is quite new and smart. That said, it has been built in an old style with exposed stonework, and looks like it is a restored old village house. An absolutely lovely building.||||The hotel is a true ‘boutique’ hotel of only 5 rooms.||||Our first night was in room 1 (Sofira) which is on the first floor with a side balcony (with quite a high wall so not ideal for sunbathing if thats your thing). As the hotel was quieter on our second night we were kindly offered an upgrade to room 2 (Eirini) which was also on the first floor but which was a slightly bigger room with 2 balconies, including a large balcony with a superb view of Limeni and the sea. Both rooms were, although not huge, beautifully styled. Room 1 had a particularly lovely bathroom. Both rooms had a fridge/mini bar, kettle and hot drink making facilities, very efficient air con and a safe, so all the essentials. The beds were comfortable and the rooms quiet at night (and dark at night due to the wooden shutters) so we had good nights sleep. Overall really charming rooms, and in good condition.||The hotel has a charming indoor lounge area and a lovely terrace from which breakfast is served. The breakfast is excellent, with the usual buffet choices but including lots of home made Greek delicacies, pastries, and yoghurt. Delicious!||The hotel is set in a slightly elevated position above the road running through Limeni, with a short and steep access drive and room for maybe 3 cars to park.||The hotel has a small bar, and there are mini bars in the rooms.||The shining star in all this is the wonderful hospitality we received from general manager (and owner?) Eva and her son George. Eva is absolutely lovely, so welcoming and accommodating. Her English is still improving, but good enough and she speaks French and German. George is very fluent in English. Real Greek hospitality at its very best.||||As for Limeni itself, it is a small but very stylish village with a beautiful setting by the sea in a lovely small bay. Lots of old stone houses, many of which have been restored. We saw lots of people swimming in the bay. There is a one-way street running through it, with cars parked to one side. Car parking is just about adequate, but could be more of a problem at the weekend. ||||There were 4 restaurants open in Limeni when we were there (I Oka had already closed for the season!), and the others looked like they would also close in the next week or so, so eating in October could be a problem in the village.||||There is one local taverna, 2 expensive fish restaurants (Takis and Kourmas) and a fine dining type restaurant (Teloneio). We booked Takis on a Saturday night but left before ordering as we felt the service was very poor and the menu almost entirely fish, not much else. We were not impressed. We ate twice at Teloneio where the service was very good, in a nice location by the sea, the food of a smart bistro type. Prices at all 3 places were comparatively expensive for the area, but Limeni is an upmarket village. We also ate at the ‘Black Pirate’ fish restaurant in nearby Neo Itilo (next village round the bay) where the service was very good and the prices much more reasonable for a fish restaurant compared to those in Limeni - recommended.||||Overall this is a lovely small hotel run by lovely people in a lovely small village in a lovely part of Greece - what more to say? We wish Eva and her team every luck in the future and hope to...

It is without exaggeration, one of the finest Boutique Hotels we've ever experienced. The hotel is housed in a magnificent traditional stone building, designed with superb taste and excellent craftmanship. Every detail - from the materials used to the finishes in the rooms and the bathrooms - speaks of elegance and thoughtful curation. The soul of the hotel is Mrs. Eva, the dynamic owner and manager, who makes sure everything runs smoothly. Supporting her is Ms. Evanthia, a polite and attentive presence who ensures your time in the common areas - whether enjoying breakfast coffee or a drink - is memorable. Breakfast itself deserves special mention: a heaven of homemade pastries and bread, a wide variety of marmalades and delicious, high-quality selection of cheeses - a welcome departure from the bland, industrial "yellow plastic" cheese you often see in hotels. We're typically reserved when it comes to writing reviews, but our experience at Limeni Inn left such a strong impression that we felt compelled to share. This hotel is a true gem, and we wholeheartedly...
Read moreJust spent a week in the charming coastal "village" of Limeni, and stayed at the eponymous "inn". Family run, Nikos, Evaggelia and Sofia could not do enough for us. From the fresh and tasty breakfast spread - which they served for us due to Covid - to the extensive wine list (considering they have a capacity of 14 guests, there are many more fine wines to choose from). Our "room with a view" was most comfortable, fully equipped with all the little luxuries and did I mention the view? The endless, magical blue , changing hues depending on the time of day, and a spectacular sunset. If you want a truly relaxing, no-stress, no worry vacation, it's a no-brainer to come to this little paradise in the...
