ORIGIN HOTEL APARTMENTS — Hotel in Municipality of Kos

We had 2 weeks of amazing holiday (3 adults, 2 16yo). The hotel is spotless clean, housekeeping ladies coming every day, changing towels every few days), has modern design (white abs grey). We were allocated in junior suite, ground floor, open top floor, two bathrooms, terrace, tea/coffee facilities. Air-conditioning and safe free of charge. Very good WiFi. Bar, game room, pool area really nice, prices like everywhere else. The only thing, but this is not a complain, was that our room was next to the bar so yes, the hotel is quite loud and you can call it party hotel (karaoke every night) and in our room you could hear everything till very late however we had no little children so we didn't go sleep early it didn't bother us at all.|All of the staff very friendly and helpful, no moody people at all. |Hotel is located 5min from the beach or main promenade, 3min from supermarket and bakery. |Kardamena is a lovely place to stay with peaceful, relaxed vibe and many things to do. Good location.Clean. Staff friendly but I found them to loud and tiring. Every day they try to make you spend money in the bar downstairs. Also they constantly try to catch people walking down the street and invite them in for a drink. I find that to pushy and unprofessional(but to be fair,they all do that in every restaurant or Caffè in Kardamena) . Why I mention that? Because there is 24/7 noise in the hotel, loud talking, laughing and loud music. I was hoping for quiet, peaceful holiday, a break from noisy sity but I didn't sleep at all during my stay. I came back home evan more exhausted than before my holiday. This place is definitely for young people who wish to have party every night, not for middle age people exhausted with their full time jobs who are looking for a proper rest on holiday. Also there is extra charge for everything, wi-fi at the rooms, air conditioner (try to make it without in temperature over 30 Celsius) yeah, sad. And general observation, all the street cats seem to be dehydrated, it's not that difficult to leave out a bowl with fresh water for...

What a great place this is, we didn’t arrive until after 1am but were warmly welcomed and taken straight to our room, it was clean a very good size and had everything we needed, the shower was amazing. The pool area is lovely, clean & tidy we always managed to get a sunbed. We were B&B and there was plenty on offer and was really good. The Greek night is good fun definitely give it a go. There is a gym there to use too. Yes the bar is open 24 hours and depending on when you visit can be very busy, but they do shut the doors at midnight, as we were in an apartment on the ground floor next to the gym we didn’t hear it at all. Marco & his team are fabulous they work really hard to make your stay 1st class, we raised a problem with the air conditioning unit leaking before going out for the day and it was sorted before we got back. There was a sink, fridge, kettle, cups & glasses and a hairdryer in the bathroom. The room was cleaned daily and linens and beds changed regularly.
