Nissia Kamares Hotel Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Kos

Everything about this beautiful boutique hotel is perfect! We unexpectedly stayed here for five nights after having a terrible hotel experience elsewhere and checking out early- and by complete chance we picked the best place. |The staff here are wonderful- helpful, gentle, thoughtful. The breakfast is just incredible- lovely traditional Greek touches alongside heaps of delicious options. The pool is freshwater and spotlessly clean with chilled music and plenty of sunbeds. Food and drinks are fresh and very generous and reasonable. The apartments are SO stylish, incredibly comfortable beds and have everything you could need- we had a gorgeous little courtyard. And the grounds (like a little traditional Greek village) with hibiscus, jasmine, bouganvillea, dianthus etc are stunning. |The location is perfect for exploring Kardamena, a day at the beach or day trips- but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. |It was the very tail end of the season so it was quiet at the complex but the other guests were all lovely- a really nice international friendly vibe. |The cleaners did a brilliant job and left a lovely little surprise every day- a freshly cut vase of flowers from the gardens, a flower/towel arrangement etc. ||I can honestly say that after a horrible start to our holiday, our stay at Nissia Kamares more than made up for it and we wish we could have stayed for much longer. Well Nissia is beautiful, I'm still here and every day I wake up I have to pinch myself. The setting is amazing with a village style to the layout with loads of plants and trees everywhere, the smell of jasmine is lovely. I'm in a studio with twin beds, a bathroom and kitchen area with plenty of room to move about. I have a small patio area with a drying rack for clothes (this has come in very useful). Ideally there could have been more hangers in the wardrobe and possibly more storage space, the shower is also tiny but I understand that they are going to be redecorating and modernising so it's probably a moot point. The pool area is outstanding with a great pool bar, very clean with amazing staff, actually all the staff are amazing and do a brilliant job keeping everything running smoothly. Domestics are in everyday and change bins and clean rooms, towels are on a two day rotation unless told otherwise and change linen every week. Breakfast is buffet style with a good variety of food and drink. The location of the hotel is excellent with an easy two minute walk to the centre or supermarket. This place is amazing. A traditional Greek setting, all the rooms are different and decorated in a tasteful way, set around two courtyards which are lined with trees, plants and shrubs that smell lovely. The grounds are well maintained and all the staff work their socks off. The swimming pool is bigger then in the pictures and again is very clean, plenty of sunbeds and even in height of season there are plenty to go round. The pool bar staff are great, Natalie who works in the evening will recommend the best places to go, she will book restaurants, call taxis and help all she can. Hotel is located no more than five minute walk to the harbour and beach where all the restaurants, shops and bars are located and far enough away so you don't hear anything, not that this is noisy place anyway.
