Elena Hotel Kozani — Hotel in Municipality of Kozani

This was a one-night stay on the way from Thessaloniki to Papingo.||We chose Elena purely randomly and using guesswork based on reviews we read and the price point we wanted to stay at.||The location is a bit too far to walk to the center of town, mostly because of the steep hill(s) that you'd have to climb to get back to the hotel.||The lobby area is fine, if a bit of an old-fashioned design. The desk clerk was cordial and spoke reasonable English. He didn't seem to know too much about the (few) things to see and do in the area, however.||There IS an elevator! And the A/C worked well.|| The good sized room was plain, with a similar decor to the lobby. Only three hangers in the closet? You couldn't afford more? ||The bathroom was quite small and there was and ugly stain in the tub below the faucet.||P.S. You really should get into town to check out a really beautifully decorated...

Elena Hotel is just wonderful. I was diverting to Kozani because of a storm and needed somewhere to stay with my dog. The whole team at Elena were super. Friendly, polite, efficient, they made me and my dog feel very welcome. Introduced me to other guests. Chatted easily. They are true hospitality people. The room was just perfect for a few days. Super warm in the snow storm, and it's a quiet area. Parking was at the front door. Breakfast was better than expected. Price is just right. The large numbers of guests off season shows they've got the recipe right. I now have a regular place to stays in...

Επιλέξαμε το συγκεκριμένο για μία διανυκτέρευση στην πόλη, δεν θέλαμε κάτι εντυπωσιακό και πολύ ακριβό απλά για ένα ύπνο. Το πρόβλημα μας δεν ηταν ότι τα δωμάτια δεν ειναι καλά γιατί είναι πολύ μικρά, με πολύ παλιά έπιπλα έως φθαρμένα, στρώμα που έχει βουλιάξει και έχει μέχρι και βρωμιές ο τοίχος. Τα βασικά προβλήματα ξεκίνησαν όταν πήγαμε για ύπνο, σηκώνοντας το πανωσέντονο παρατηρήσαμε ότι από κάτω υπήρχε χνούδι και τρίχες. Ζητήσαμε νέο ζευγάρι σεντόνια για να το βάλουμε ανάμεσα και μας τα έδωσαν. Επιπλέον το ίδιο βράδυ διέμεναν στο ξενοδοχείο μαζί μας εκδρομές με μαθητές για τις οποίες κανείς δεν μας ενημέρωσε ότι θα ήταν εκεί και κανείς δεν έκανε κάτι για να εμποδίσει τον θόρυβο που δημιουργούνταν από τα μικρά παιδιά, ως συνέπεια κοιμηθήκαμε πολύ αργά και ξυπνήσαμε πολύ νωρίς μαζί με το δικό τους εγερτήριο. Όλα αυτά με κόστος 70,5 ευρώ τη νύχτα και ούτε ένα συγγνώμη κατά το check out.

Δεν θα το πρότεινα σε καμία περίπτωση, εάν είναι η μόνη σας επιλογή καλύτερα να μείνετε σε άλλη πόλη της ευρύτερης περιοχής.

Το μόνο θετικό ήταν η ευγένεια και το φιλότιμο του παλικαριού που δούλευε νύχτα που μας βοήθησε σε ότι του ζητήσαμε από τα προβλήματα...
