Effies Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Leros

Effies studios are situated round a pretty little 'tropical' garden, about 200 yards from the beach resort of Alinda, with its bars and restaurants, (avoid the Alinta Hotel - the kitchen may be clean but the food is unimpressive and the waiters cursery once the bill is paid!).|The studios are well maintained and have adequate self-catering facilities, (though some dish-washing utensils/soap would be nice!). The maid does the rooms ever other day, though the landlady, (who is very pleasant) comes to check if you need anything and will take away your rubbish, etc.|The only drawback we had was that we were in the block right next to the lane, so there was some noise from mopeds etc, so request to be set back...

We actually only stayed for two nights. But those nights were great. We got a nice Studio with a terrace. We were welcomed very friendly and we felt homely right away. The room was big enough, very clean and had every equipment for cooking. The Location is good, it is quiet, but very close to the beach of Alinda. There you can find Restaurants etc. Even a walk to Agia Marina is possible (takes around 30 minutes), but there are taxis (and I guess even a bus). ||Leros is quite a nice Island, it calmed us down a bit. A small group of friends stayed for a few days at Effies. The aparts were absolutely spotless. Everything was supplied from nice smelling toiletries, hairdryer, Toaster etc. Effie and he mum were amazing and helped us in so many different ways always with a smile and a joke. |Location is only a few mins walk from the beach and a selection of lovely tavernas. |I would not choose anywhere else to stay in Leros and we will def. return. |Thank you...
