Unfortunately we really cannot recommend this place based on the meal that we had here last night. We had the Chef’s salad, fried calamari and tzatziki. The salad was terrible - a big pile of tired lettuce, a bit of tomato and cucumber and a boiled egg on top, all smothered in a rather unpleasant Marie-rose style dressing, presumably squeezed out of a plastic bottle - I thought it was spaghetti when the waitress brought it. The salad normally also includes ham, but we don’t eat red meat so we asked for that to be excluded. It would have been nice if they could have added extra egg instead or knocked a little off the price, but no. The calamari was no better - soggy and rubbery and not a very big portion. The tzatziki was very average - it didn’t taste homemade, but I might be wrong. The service was prompt and polite, but perfunctory.
