Happy Apartments Mykonos — Hotel in Municipality of Mykonos

Stayed here for a week in June as a couple and the apartments are modern, nicely decorated and very clean. Also come with a fridge and air con which is great in high summer!||||The pool area is fantastic - lots of loungers and there is a swim up bar. During our stay it was quiet and we never had an issue getting sun loungers.||||All the staff are super friendly and helpful - special mention to the barman at the pool who made sure we always had drinks! ||||To properly see Mykonos the island, you will need to rent a car no matter where you are staying as everything is quite spread out and the public transport is not great - you can get a bus to the Old Town every few hours but there are only 30 taxis on the whole island even during summer so it is very different to big resorts in Spain, Portugal etc.||||Definitely more of a chilled out holiday and be advised there are no cafes, bars or restaurants within walking distance. The pool bar shuts at 8pm so unless you fancy the strip club your only choice is the bakery across the road which is nice for a quick croissant but not a three course meal! ||||Staff and pool are the best features of this place.||||Also, just to note - if you are anyways prudish and/or travelling with young children, this may not be the place for you as there is a ‘Las Vegas’ Showgirls strip club on the same site as the apartments and it appeared some of the ‘workers’ shared the pool area during the day! No issue to us at all but something to bear in mind. ||||Overall, I wasn’t that impressed with Mykonos in general as there is very little to see and do on such a small island - probably better to just stop by for a few days on a tour of the Greek islands. We were quite bored by the end of the week which is unusual for us! ||||Can’t fault the reception and pool staff who were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay but the cleaning could have been better and more thorough. Our sheets were not changed at all during 7 days, our towels were not always replaced and the floor wasn’t cleaned once.||||Once we left a tip for the cleaners, the room was cleaned to a better standard but I feel like this should come as standard and a tip is for going over and above, not doing the bare minimum.||||This was my second time in Greece - visited Crete as a student and wasn’t impressed but felt confident that Mykonos would be much better ten years later. Can’t say it was and would stick to Spain, Portugal, Malta and Montenegro from now on as they all deliver better quality holidays at a fraction...

We came here last week for a few days with our three children - 14, 12 and 9 and loved every second. Although Mykonos isn’t a typical location for a family holiday, we wanted to bring the children back with us for our 5th wedding anniversary as this is where we came for a honeymoon without them. ||The hotel is right next to the go kart track which was perfect for us as the kids loved it. I’ve seen people moan about this on here but we honestly didn’t hear any noise at all. ||There is also a strip club next door which was open, but again we didn’t hear much noise at all and all managed to sleep really well. ||The staff are extremely welcoming and can’t do enough for you. They clean the room every 3 days but if you need it cleaned sooner, you can just ask. With having three children, we asked for the bathroom to be cleaned after day 2 and someone was there almost straight away. They cleaned the whole apartment and even tucked our daughter’s bear into bed, which she loved. ||The kids went in the pool, which is really cold this time of year but they weren’t bothered. Despite the pool being completely empty at times, every time we went (only ones there), there was a member of staff manning the bar. ||We hired a car and ATV which is recommended when staying here, although the island is so small, there is only ever a really short drive to anywhere. The bakery opposite is really good too.||The kids absolutely loved our stay and didn’t want to come home. We’d be more than happy...

Amazing hotel with nice clean rooms. 7 of us had a 2 suites with the Jacuzzi. Nice pool and a good gym too. There is a 24hour bakery across the road to cater for all your needs ask them to make you an omelette and the will. They serve lunch various greek dishes. Amazing cakes and good coffees. The motel has everything you need and Nick was great and really looked after us with anything that we required. The hotel and service exceeded my expectations beyond and above and will definetly come back. It's very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend. It's 10min from airport and 10min into MYKONOS town. Good location. Fetelia beach is awesome 15min walk. Compliments to Nick this was the best service and we thoroughly...
