We were booked into Dream Villas as last minute guests and on arrival it was clear we were going to be staying somewhere very special. ||||The villa is run by a mother and daughters team and it truly works well. The whole family were lovely people and couldn't do enough to help you. ||||The view from our room looked right out to the Agean sea and onto the pool with our own balcony which we ate our dinner on a couple of nights. ||||Dream Villas is in Ftelia which is out of town but very close to the beach, 10 min drive will get you to Mykonos town in one direction and 10 mins in the other direction will take you to Ano Mera which is more sedate and traditional. ||||The pool at the hotel is very well kept and if you want to just chill out by the pool and take a dip its perfect. ||||Breakfast at Dream Villas is just right, and we had breakfast most days.||||Our room was very spacious and modern with a perfectly comfortable large bed. It’s not far from Mykonos Town and close to other villages full of restaurants, bakeries and cafes (you’ll need your own transportation like a car or ATV) yet feels secluded in a beautiful rural way. You see a beautiful bay and beach (walking distance) and hills with goats (who often come to visit). The rooms have their own pool with private lounging area or you can choose to go to the main communal pool that is perfect for laps and relaxing under the umbrellas. Speaking of rooms - the design esthetic is superb – all white in a shabby chic kind of vibe with chandeliers and white washed hardwood floors. Really cool.
