Just left from a 6 day family stay with our teenagers at one of the brand new 3 bed villas up the hill from the original apartments. We found the villa by chance when our original accommodation was not suitable. Thank goodness we did! Anthi is the most wonderful host, you immediately feel at ease and she guides you expertly when asked with genuine care. The delicious breakfasts delivered in a basket are amazing thanks to Alexandros, varied slightly each day and he adjusts as you request. I cannot understand the review that complained about the size as honestly it keeps you going till dinner and we love our food! You ideally need a car here to be able to explore the island as it is a little remote- but we loved that. Or maybe if you were just coming for total relaxation with endless views you would be fine relaxing and just walking to a few local tavernas. The villa is beautifully finished the pool area gorgeous and all done to a high standard with effortless style. We feel rejuvenated and honestly I don’t think you will ever tire of the view. Luckily you see it from every window and it literally stops you in your tracks. Even the kitchen window’s view of the mountains is stunning. The private tranquility of this place was wonderful- just what we needed to decompress. All we could hear are the cicadas and occasional chime of the goats bells. All in all a wonderful relaxing stay and we...
Read moreThis was an incredible place to stay for the first time on Naxos. |We stay in Villa Semeli. The beds were really comfortable, showers amazing, beautiful toiletrees and soaps to use, more than enough towels and fluffy dressing gowns, great air conditioning, amazing views and sunsets and an infinity pool which was bigger than expected. The kitchen was simple, but well equipped. The hospitality was excellent and the breakfast basket, amazing!!!! No need for lunch once it had been eaten. It felt like a very private villa, despite other villas being around. There is a telegraph pole in front of the pool, which you may not see in the pictures but it was still beautiful. We did not use the larger pool as we spent the days ar the beach or sightseeing. We had a few days when there was an unusual southern wind and the patio was very windy, but on most other days there was very little wind. We would definitely come back. It is in a quieter area of Naxos with lovely beaches nearby. Ensure you have recommendations from locals about which beaxh is best depending on the wind conditions. The unusual southern wind, meant the normally calm beaches were more windy. A car is...
Read moreEverything about Phoenicia Naxos Apartments has been thought about with incredible care and attention making this a really fabulous place to relax and unwind. |Our family of six (my husband and I and our four children aged 18-23) spent a week in Kedros Villa which was just perfect for us, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and with its own small pool looking out to sea. Nothing is too much trouble for Anthi (who was brilliantly efficient and kind at every stage), and the chef, Eddie, and the rest of the friendly team. We chose not to hire a car as we simply wanted to relax without being tempted to go out sight-seeing and it worked perfectly. Anthi arranged our transfers and Eddie kindly ran us to the local minimarket to stock up on provisions for the week. We spent several hours each day beside the lovely communal pool. The beach is less than ten mins walk for a change of scenery, and two good local restaurants are also within 10-15 mins walk for dining out. As others have described, the breakfast is delicious, a simply perfect start to each day! Nothing is too much trouble and our stay exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank you so much,...
