Hygge en Seahorse Corfu — Hotel in Municipality of Northern Corfu

Careful this place is managed by thieves! Terrible experience. We stayed at this place booking Melina's studio on air bnb. First it was not at all at the direction indicated on air bnb so we waited 30min until someone finally get in contact with us. It was a terrible check-in experience. The girl barely spoke English and didn't even apologize for the mistake she made by indicating the wrong direction nor by letting us wait 30min under the sun in the middle of nowhere. The place is really far away from the city and the beach, not at all what we booked. It's next to a very busy, noisy and dangerous road with no pavement to walk and where the cars are driving very fast. The mattress was very uncomfortable, no curtains on the windows, no proper shower, you need to shower on top of the toilets. We couldn't sleep because of the light and the noise of the road. The windows don't even close properly and internet didn't work. We originally booked for 6 nights, we wanted to work remotely from there, but after the bad experience of the first night and finding out the place was so far away from everything we asked to cancel and we went somewhere else. On top of everything the owner refused to give us back the money. The owner is very unprofessional and unfriendly, renting a terrible place and not even willing to make a commercial gesture to give us back the money of the remaining nights (finding shameless excuses like us leaving one towel on the floor and the coffee machine on... whereas we left the place in a perfect state). I strongly advise you to not book this place, they are very dishonest people. Our worst experience in Greece and worst experience...

Hygge Corfu is a fantastic and relaxed venue, with a beautiful pool and a great vibe. I especially like the colored bulbs. I was very worried before I went to Corfu since I had to work remotely, so I called Hygge Corfu beforehand. Lefteris (please forgive me if i misspelled the name) told me that they have 8-15 mbits of connection, in the end it was 22 and i had absolutely no problem to work from there. The venue is not far from the beach (10 mins walk) and the to canal d’amour (20 mins walk). I hired a car for two days and we also explored the beautiful island of corfu. There was a bit of noise from the street but i wouldnt worry about it since in the night it becomes really quiet. Studio 8, 9 and 10 face the mountains and are very quiet. Studio 6 and 7 also quiet but have amazing internet, so if that is important for you, then give them a call beforehand. They really went out their way to make this a fantastic stay for me and my friend who joined for a few days. I would come back...

This must be the best accommodation I've ever stayed in.||||When we got to the place, we called Lefteris who spoke to the taxi driver & told us where it was (we were right next to it).||||From the beginning until the end, Dimitris helped us with ANYTHING we needed - he exceeded our expectations.||||The pool, the location, the apartment the rooms...all looked way better in REAL LIFE than the photos (in my opinion). Especially the pool - beautiful!!!||||The cleaning lady was also the most friendliest.||||the apartment felt like home, honestly. I was so sad to leave it. Luckily, all the travellers that were there were also friendly and welcoming, it was so lovely. Ahhh :( i want to go back! Very comfortable place.||||God bless all the owners - truly...
