Highly recommend! We’ve been to Greece many times and this stay was one of the best we’ve had. ||It’s hard to find anything at fault here. We have been to Greece many many times and this is the most welcome I have ever felt. Cleo and her husband Stavros run this resort proudly with their children and great staff. ||We arrived late in the evening and we got the room key immediately. Registration and such could be done later (really nice). In the fridge we found a few bottles of water. We headed to the poolbar and found Cleo with her husband. Cleo offered us a snack (toast with ham and cheese) and we had a lovely chat while we had a few drinks. It was 1AM when we turned in! That was a very nice start and we felt right at home. Shocked to find Cleo up at breakfast the next day but in Greece its common to work 7 days a week from early morning till the late night. ||They treat their staff really well and you see and feel that in the way they help you. Even the cleaning staff took the time to make fun and cute setups with our son’s stuffed animals, every day. It was so fun coming back and find that the stuffed animals apparently had a great day too while we where away. ||We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant every day. We usually arrange breakfast ourselves and go out for dinner but we found Cleo’s kitchen really good and up to what we would be looking for elsewhere. We didn’t feel the need to try out restaurants in the area. ||It’s also good to see they are good for the animals here. Everywhere in Greece you will find stray cats which don’t look too good. But here they where fed, looked healthy and where very friendly. We learned that Cleo also takes the ones she can rally up to the vet. ||We visited in the last week of October, usually this is the last week of the season and people are tired. Not here. ||Beach bed, pool beds very comfy! Better quality than you usually find..||You can park your rental car in the shade, also nice. Especially in August I imagine. ||Since it’s end of season, they gave us the use of our room for free on our last day since we have a late flight. We would have gladly paid a fee (they are transparant, it costs 50 euro for the biggest room, 40 for a smaller one) but Cleo insisted. She also made us a special dinner as they stopped serving dinner the day before. ||We want to come back here and my son is already trying to get us to promise to come here next fall. Read moreWe are here now 7 - 14 October 2025. Arrival in the morning and it had rained but the sun quickly came out. At 12.00 another short raincloud was emptied but then it cleared. After checking in at the reception (lovely lady behind the desk making us feel welcome straight away) did some unpacking we went to have a quick lunch at the Eanthia Bar/Restaurant and we were again welcomed by the most friendly staff we’ve had in years. Totally exhausted after waking up at 03.00 we had some time in the sun and went back to the appt for a Power Nap…. Would have loved to have a bit more sea view (appt 527) but overall it’s a great start of the week. UPDATE: 527 turned out to be perfect because of the late sun on the balcony in the afternoon. Some minor points of attention (it’s a review after all😉): kitchen could have been equipped a bit better and the fridge is just too small. We don't advice to cook in the appartment since there is no cooker hood, which keeps the cooking smell last for a couple of days... ;) And a floor wiper in the bathroom would be nice because the shower has no closing door.

Read moreI had dinner here with my family recently. The reservation response was swift and they reserved us a nice table as requested. The food was OK but pasta dishes were a poor choice and probably not their speciality. However, this was our choice so I do not hold the restaurant to ccount for this. What was very disappointing was not so much the wrong dish served to my daughter but the fact that the waiter made it out to be our fault. He said that he had read our choices back to us, which he did not. He did not accept that he had misheard our food request, despite the fact that my daughter and wife are allergic to the mussels! He reordered the correct dish but by the time it came we had finished ours, helped out my our very hungry daughter. During this time nobody approached us to update us on progress with her dish. The whole experience left her not wanting anything else to eat so we cancelled the dish and was told by the waiter that he would have to pay for it! Thankfully, the dish was deducted from our bill. For this level of poor customer service I would have awarded 2 stars but this seemed unfair as everything else...
