Horizon Seaview Restaurant — Restaurant in Municipality of Platanias

We stopped here for a 'snack' whilst on our way to visiting some places of interest nearby. 3 had the club sandwiches, and I had the chicken souvlaki, all were reasonably priced and big portions, and most importantly tasted very good! The chicken souvlaki in particular was marinated and cooked to perfection with the meat tender and full of that classic 'flavour of greece'. The homemade hand cut chips that accompanied each meal where also great, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy in the middle, and good taste. A quick bite that turned out to be a great find, tucked out of the way behind apartments. Easy parking at the side of the road too. Plus we noticed they have sunbeds that can be used for the beach as well, with table service to those. If we weren't staying over 2 hours away we'd be back for...

We had Kebab and Lamb chops. After trying lamb chops at another restaurant, we found the lamb chops less "grilled" than the other, and not much seasoned. It still was godd though. The kebab was tender and juicy. Both served with baby potatoes, lettuce, pitabread and dip. The food tasted good. Finally a restaurant that serves side dishes other than fries. Extra comment: We arrived to late, we came 20:58 and the serving ended 21:00. But we were met with a smiling waitor allowing us to order. We really appreciate this, what a service.

The premises were nice with a view towards the ocean and the atmosphere was good. The staff were very pleasant.

The food is absolutely heavenly, I felt guilty for not finishing the whole meal even though I was so full 💔💔.
