Soon as we entered the hotel the staff were very accommodating and helpful in making sure that we are settled on as seriously as possible. The food was really good there was lots of options everyday and food was available whenever you needed it as there were several restaurants and bars that servef snacks. The waterpark was great for kids and adults alike the slides and very fun, with lots of seating areas for family members that might not want to go on the slides. The lifeguards were all very friendly and easily approachable and also very accommodating to any needs as long as it was safe. The Poole area was very well laid out, with a clean and spacious area for kids to play. The sunbed area was served by several waiters and waitresses and grabbing a drink or small snack such as an ice cream or crisps was very easy throughout the day. Again the staff here were amazing and great to talk to. As the swimming pool was so large, there was Aries for adults to sun bathe and go for a swim without the hustle and bustle of lots of children around them. As we have a child of our own we did not use the adults area however it looks very good and was served by waiters and waitresses as well. The ala carte restaurant was very tasty we especially recommend the chefs grill the food was delicious and very filling as is the Greek way. There were lots of fitness activities in the day for adults, a gym, an indoor swimming pool. There was also options to have a massage or use the spa which you would have to book and pay for. My other half used the spa she said that it was a brilliant experience and would recommend it to anyone going to this hotel. For kids if the water park is not doing it for them or it is raining then there is a kids area called kids world. This is an area that caters for both young kids and older kids with two different areas for both. The younger kids can play in the upstairs area which contains lots of toys a ball pit and drawing utensils aimed at kids up to about 3 years old. The downstairs area we didn't use, however it is staffed and there are lots of things that a child can do for example there is a PlayStation a foosball table a table for doing drawings or using paints. A snooker table and some other things. there is also a small swimming pool outside that is used exclusively by kids world so that they can do activities with your kids. I believe you can leave your kids there for a small period of time however I'm not sure if there is any cost associated with this as we did not use it. there is typically entertainment for the whole family in the evenings just after dinner, this will be either a live band or acts or something of that nature. You can see what's on when you go to the main dinner area there is a information board with tonight's entertainment details. There is also a beach it is pebbles with some sand, there are sun lounges I believe they are free for hotel guests they are also served by waiters and waitresses like the swimming pool. The reception staff were really good. If you wanted to go on an excursion they were very helpful and provide you with details on how to get anywhere. They have a car park if you rent a car which is great. However if you want to get the bus into town it is equally just as easy as the bus stop is just outside the hotel and any bus takes you to the main city. Chania, the journey can take about 25 minutes but the bus service is very good the buses are clean and tidy and the staff are very helpful. We recommend you avoid rush hour as the bus can get very very busy coming back from Chania. Our room was very nice and clean. Was new and it looks amazing there is a TV that allows you to mirror your Android device however it does not work with iPhone so just be aware. The cleaning staff were very friendly and the Room was tidied very well. The internet service was brilliant. It worked anywhere in the hotel including the swimming pool and the water park area. It was fast and we never experienced any drops in service. However we did go right beginning of the season.

Excellent hotel overall - we very much enjoyed our stay. There are many positives, but also some points for improvement, which prevent five stars from being awarded: Positives: - Great staff and service in general - attentive and nothing was too much trouble - Comfortable rooms - we had the shared pool room and found it to be a very relaxing space - Contrary to other reviews, we found the food in the main buffet place to be generally very good, with quite a lot of choice. We were there for five nights and, yes, some of the staples were the same each night (salad, bread, pizza, etc.), but most of the dishes were different, even if they had similar meat. Breakfast was the same each day, though, but of a good quality - Nice range of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic - Plenty of space by the pool, beach, etc. - yes we were there towards the end of the season, but I still think it was very well-designed to accommodate more people if needed Targets for improvement: - The entire a-la-carte system needs a complete rethink. There are three restaurants and, in theory, you get two visits in total per week e.g. one night in the Asian place, another night in the grill place - this seems to be a big selling point for the hotel. However, there is clearly not enough capacity for demand, which will inevitably lead to disappointment. Literally within five minutes of getting to our room after checking in, we tried to book our two meals, but there was almost no availability at a reasonable time (before 9/9:30 pm) - this was even when we were looking ahead by four or five days, so guests trying to get something a day or two in advance would have no chance. To make matters worse, even though we managed to get a reservation at the Asian place, we got a phone call on the morning of the meal to tell us that, due to bad weather and the Asian restaurant being completely open air (!), we would no longer be able to dine there. When we asked about switching to one of the other restaurants, we were told that there was no availability and we had to eat at the buffet (probably due to the lack of capacity mentioned earlier), so we only had the chance to use one of the restaurants during our stay. There was ZERO contingency in place for such a situation. As this is a selling point of the hotel, the management are only going to ensure guests are frustrated and disappointed if it continues in its current form. - Continuing the theme of contingency plans being entirely missing, we had quite heavy rain and wind during the last two days of our stay. Frankly, the hotel seemed to be completely clueless about how to deal with this - it seems they bank everything (including the Asian restaurant) on it being good weather, which is clearly inadequate. During the rain, everything closed apart from a small pizza bar and the main lobby, which was obviously packed. The only entertainment was some board games - again, absolutely no back up plans. Overall, I would stay again. However, it is really essential in such a competitive market to be able to adapt and provide contingency planning - it’s not as if rain is a once in a century event in Crete, especially during the spring and autumn! Additionally, if the hotel are to live up to their marketing about the a-la-carte options, they need to do something about capacity.

Stayed in the hotel for 10 days. Overall the standard is high and staff are polite and helpful. Every year I travel to a different resort and in this one there are things I've never seen anywhere else, no matter if higher or lower standard. - upon arrival we were requested to download their mobile app so we could do our own check in. Never ever in any other resort I had to do such thing. I'm here to rest and not to do receptionist work. - that same app, is the one we have to book dinner every single day even in the buffet restaurant. One more thing I have to remember to do, every day... - after check in (ourselves), they do not give you any type of bracelet (as in any other resort). At first this might look like a nice thing, until we realize that for almost everything we need to constantly give our room number. Which after few days is just annoying! - there are sunbeds in front of the beach and next to the swimming pool that are paid! Like... I've been in many different type of resorts and even in the most luxurious ones I've never ever had to pay to use hotel facilities. I got really shocked when staff told me it's 20 euro per day to use those sunbeds. Moreover, the ones next to the pool are occupying a lot of space that could be used for normal ones when hotel is more crowded. - we were asked to move somewhere else when we laid down next to those paid sunbeds because there were so many guest that we had to go there just for the shadow of the palm tree... So apparently there's a radius where we can't use if we don't pay those 20 euro. Maybe we can't also breath the air next to those sunbeds too... - hotel facilities doesn't seems to be big enough for the amount of guests. Very ofter we had to grab a sunbed and go next to some palm tree because next to the pool there was no space at all. - there's no pool bar. Hotel of this class has to have one. - stone beach. For the price we've paid, this is very very uncomfortable. - animations in general, but especially in the evening are a joke. There are even days that there's nothing at all! - food is OK, however lacks variety. After few days we start to get the same food. And simple things like rice most of times are not present. - if you don't tip the staff, they come to bring drinks only the first time. Then just pass by you and ignore you. Overall the hotel has quality and good standards... Just in my opinion not for the price we've paid. Last year, we also came to Greece to another hotel with the same quality for a similar price, and besides not having any of the above issues, we had a room with private swimming pool. So, to be honest and for the amount of offers Greece has regarding hotels and resorts, I would hardly recommend this one and for sure won't come back in the future.

Just completed a 10 day family stay here (no children) I’m a holiday snob (we all are, actually) and spent much time finding a holiday/ hotel that suited all of us and our wants/ needs.||I’ll list all of the positives here:||We arrived at the hotel late, around 11-11:30pm for check in. The staff checked us in super quickly and sent us to the late night buffet which runs until 2:30am for food and a glass of wine- incredible! ||Hotel itself is absolutely stunning. It’s a very large complex but everywhere is immaculate. Pool area, immaculate. Walk throughs, bars, hotel rooms, outdoor areas, all absolutely spotless.||Staff are absolutely wonderful. Super polite, they all know their roles to make service quick and efficient and we found them all to be absolutely lovely from the moment we checked in with reception.||Rooms are epic. We had 2x standard pool views rooms and they’re really spacious. Gorgeous decor, great lighting, massive bed, big walk in shower, lovely hot water, perfection. I looked forward to going back each night because I found the room so gorgeous and calming!||Food in restaurants really, really good. Buffet some of us found hit and miss. Personally for me, I’ve really enjoyed the food. I eat fish, meat, salad, veg, fruit, oats etc so I haven’t struggled and everything I have chosen has been well cooked and pretty tasty. Everyone on here complaining about the food- honestly it’s madness. You have to have the palette of a new born baby if you can’t feed yourself well here and that’s not the hotels problem. (Worst comes to worst, they have a children’s area with nuggets and chips if you’re really that beige)|They have a daily pizza/ pasta/ salad and ice cream section near the pool if you don’t like the buffet. They serve waffles and gyros that you can get every day. They have bread and cheese and potatoes and great salad and meat options every day. I’m genuinely concerned for those that cannot feed themselves here. Given what we paid, we thought the food was great.||The cocktails are outstanding. They use premium branded spirits and the wine is lovely too!! It’s rare we find to visit an all inclusive with good wine, I tend to find it cheap and undrinkable. The wine here though is epic! They even offer sparkling and sparkling rose too, wonderful drink selection and being served cocktails round the pool to that standard was an absolute treat.||The pool is amazing. It’s the biggest pool I’ve ever seen with sunbeds extending the entire length of it so even when the hotel is busy, there’s no trouble at all getting a sunbed.||The vitamin bar- genius. Open all day until early evening, they juice you whatever you wish from their selection! Delicious and really lovely to have one of them daily. Guy running it super friendly too.||Cons:||Pool is ice cold. Like plunging yourself into an ice bath and this was disappointing as a family who likes the water. With the weather being a bit ropey this time of year, heating it even slightly would be great. Didn’t really use it, as beautiful as it is because of the temp.||Although I enjoyed the food, some of the buffet food is tepid and needs to be kept hotter during its display time. ||There is not enough outdoor seating at the top near the buffet to accommodate everyone. This also means there isn’t really any entertainment bar live music, because they haven't dedicated a space big enough for this, which seems a waste and is a bit of a shame.||There is a LOT of children here, especially young children. Not the hotels fault at all obviously as it doesn’t advertise itself as adults only and is very much a family friendly hotel. Great if you have children but if you don’t, it’s a bit overwhelming and quite noisy. That’s on us though, not the hotel but worth noting if you’re thinking of a potential visit.||Apart from that, we’ve had an absolutely beautiful stay which has been so relaxing and soul feeding. We’re really sad to leave and will miss this place very much. I really cannot understand the bad reviews, no where is perfect or to everyone’s taste, but expectations cannot be realistic in the slightest if you think this is worthy of any less than 4* to be honest. Thank you to all staff for a...

September 2025 the euphoria resort for us was the worse holiday we have ever had. I am writing this review as I do not want other people to be disappointed after spending a lot of money here . firstly the food is terrible, what there is is usually cold when plated . the chicken pork, lamb and beef are all so dried out when served overcooked. which is something we have never experienced in greece before . it is also tasteless. 2) the entertainment is non existant.one night there were greek dancers, one night a fire eater, and one night athletic men like acrobats. the music is singers who sing songs to make you sleepy. there is no dancing. no shows , all there is to do if you drink which we don't is to sit on the terrace. very boring. 3} no activities in daytime except for pilates in the pool one hour daily. no interaction with guests to play games etc. there was a pool volley ball net rolled up on the side of the pool ,but in the 14 days we were there it was never opened. 4)the hotel itself is very modern contemporary, not a bit of greek atmosphere at all anywhere. it was like staying in a london airport hotel for 14 days bland and boring. there was a room for luggage made available which is usual for a 5 star hotel but no separate room to shower and change into on your day of departure. the showers are with the public toilets no private room to change clothes after showering.which is something even 4 star hotels make available.if you wanted to keep your own room on for a few hours the cost was extortionate 140 euros. 5)the toilet situation at this hotel is awful every toilet is underground with 20 steps to go up and down, if you have a child the poor child will never make it to the toilets . when i brought this up with the hotel i was told there are lifts also to the toilets . so they expect you to come out of the pool dripping wet and go into a lift, this is not how a 5 star hotel works . 6)beware the showers in your rooms, they are glass walls both sides if you slip there is nothing to hold onto. i did ask for a shower mat and all that came up was a huge black lump of plastic that goes on the edge of the bridges on the pool, i again asked for a proper shower mat and was offered a stool !!! so i said no and used their towels instead 7)it is in a poor location nowhere to walk to unless you want to be on the side of a busy road, 8)the beach,be warned the current in the sea is very strong ,i am a strong swimmer but it was too strong for me ,i would not advise any children going in even with a parent . the beach has a blue flag which i expect just means the water is clear and turtles lay eggs there . it is very difficult to get out of the water even with swim shoes on as it is very very stoney. the whole beach is large pebbles .the hotel does put a red flag up when it is dangerous to swim. please take notice of the flag as i said before the current is strong.even when it is calm. 9)i did speak to the hotel about the food situation and told them to look around at ll the full plates of food that was being returned that should tell them haw bad the food was their excuse was people pile to much on their plates always an excuse . 10)after 3 days we asked to be moved ,we had paid a lot of money for 5 star hotel this is certainly not that, our rep managed to get us another hotel, and then the euphoria asked us to give them one more day to prove we would like it by offering an upgrade to a sea view room, and mor alicarte meals and breakfast in the signature restaurant . i said nothing they could do would make me want to stay but until we moved i would take up their offer of the breakfast restaurant and the alicarte extras. the room i declined as i didnt think we were stopping long. how wrong i was . the next day our rep told us the bad news although she had got us another hotel the euphoria was asking for a further 80 percent of the holiday we had already paid just to leave . we just could not afford it it was 1,650 euros. so we had to stay and we just counted the days down till we came home . i was...
